When he came to, his vision phased into a classroom from the grainy blur it started out as. Rows of desks lined up from the back where he sat, in a desk of his own.

It was always a goddamn desk. Mondo was sure by now that the haziest points of his memory all revolved around this one unremarkable piece of furniture. It had nothing to do with his inability to cogitate class lectures, which were also the number one most fuzzy and tremendously dull moments in his traffic accident of a life. No. It was like a teleportation pad that transported him across voids sundered by his amnesia.

And this was the third time he'd woken up in one without ever recalling sitting down in it.

Good afternoon! I finally figured out how to use this just now, so I thought I'd try to properly introduce myself.

My name's Makoto Naegi. According to the records, I'm a third-year student who transferred here from Hope's Peak Academy. My title wasn't anything amazing though. As for clubs, I didn't join any back at my previous school, so I guess you could say I'm sort of in the Going Home Club? (Unless you count robot construction as a club activity...)

Frankly, I have no idea how I got shipped all the way here or why I'm in my third-year! [ Or why all this is even happening to him. Sob. ] So if anyone could point me in the right direction about that, I'd really appreciate it.

I can't believe it, I've been here for so long. Roughly speaking, I've been here since 2012, even when you count my six month absents, it's still a pretty long time.

Anyhow! It occurred to me that today is Pi Day. Coincidentally, in Japan, today is also White Day. Traditionally, it's when a girl had gave you Valentines chocolate, the guy has to return the favor on this day. Well, that's traditionally speaking, it's been awhile but I made cookies for the occasion! Feel free to pick up a bag over my dorm room. ＼（＾▽＾）／

I understand that there is no excuse for my recent behaviour. I will do everything in my power to make up for any trouble I have caused.

Anyway, with that done, he lingers in the library for a little while before beginning the trek back to his dorm. He's been dreading going back for the first time since Valentine's Day, but it can't be avoided any longer. Unless he runs into someone else along the way.]

The voice everyone expects does not appear afterward, however. That is, perhaps, the only good thing to come from this.

Everyone, I have an important announcement to make! Listen carefully!

[You don't have to be listening carefully to hear that he is definitely coming down with something, though at this point he's still in good enough health to be functional.]

With the recent infestation of plants and the strange effects they have, a fair number of germs are being spread around from person to person! I'm afraid that in order to be freed from their invisible snares, it is... unavoidable... but that does not mean there is no way to prevent the spread of sickness! Especially with the cold weather taking a toll on our immune systems!

Remember to do the following to ensure a healthy and happy holiday:

Dress warmly! Wash your hands! Eat your vegetables! Get plenty of rest! And most of all, remember that a kiss on the cheek works just as well as one on the mouth! It's far less inappropriate in this situation, anyway!

Of course, do remember to study over the break. The new semester is almost upon us! That is all!

Several months ago, Itchymarbles had gotten underneath Bowser's skin. He'd taken to the occasional bomb-throwing into the annoying student's room since then, but that was losing its luster. It no longer had that fresh feeling of antagonism, the high of pure, unadulterated opposition.

So, he went trolling on the internet to see if he could dig up anything about Indiemango; what he found was surprising. So surprising that their contents cannot be revealed here, dear reader.

However, he learned enough to formulate a beautiful plan.

There is an invisible magikoopa trailing Kibbletango. Whenever Kittytaco is in a hallway alone, or in the bathroom alone, a certain someone will appear at the end of the hallway. Or peeking in over the stall. And that beautiful laughter (they've been practicing, so that their ancient, dust-covered magikoopa throats can manage it with a bit of magic to help).

It always disappears around a corner or after looking down in the stall (not creepy at all, guys) for a moment, too quickly to be caught up with. Invisiblity + teleportation is fun.

Also, because Bowser saw how poorly Krinkletable took Mondo's... well, you know... Bowser used his teleportation to pop himself into Mondo and Kindertrumpet's room during class hours to smear a couple of pounds worth of butter in Mondo's sheets, and tossed a couple of pancakes in cornhead's sock drawer, just to help create a feeling of goodwill and care. Wait, no. Paranoia and fear. That's it. Paranoia and fear.

The subject Halloween's been cropping up around lately, I still can't believe it was already October let alone it ending soon! Time really flies by.

Something strange had happened though today… not quite bizarre per say, but it's a bit unexpected. A package addressed to me had arrived today, there is no return address or anything and the sender only says 'an adoring fan'. What really irks me is the package itself; they're a pair of white extension cords.

Do mix ups like this happen? Not that I'm accusing the postal service, but I couldn't imagine why anyone would send me an extension cord...

PART ONE: ACTION

[There is a new arrival on campus. She's wearing a red track jacket, carries a backpack, and looks thoroughly exhausted and/or like she hasn't showered in a month. When she finally makes it to the front gates she lets the backpack drop onto the ground and just

stands there

for a good long while

until she notices the lake.

Once she notices the lake, she scoops up the backpack again and makes a beeline for the water, peeling off her track jacket, practically jumping out of her shoes and socks, and wading in up to her knees, not caring about the clothes she's still wearing.

This graceful specimen of humanity then proceeds to spread her arms wide and belly flop her way right in. She spends the next hour or two splashing around, doing a few laps, and generally having the best damn time you've ever seen.

PART TWO: VIDEO

[SOMEONE seems to have forgotten to adjust the laptop's camera before she started recording. Viewers are briefly treated to the sight of a red sleeve in their view before it withdraws to reveal someone who really needs to cut back on the pep. I actually got here a little while ago, but they wouldn't let me in. They told me I wasn't allowed to bring, um. What was it? Unsealed food through customs. I was detained by robots. Robots! Real ones! Can you believe that?

Anyway! I came here with a friend! Or I was supposed to come here with a friend, but I got stuck, so I'm not sure if he's still here. If anyone knows Byakuya Togami--glasses, blonde hair, really snooty--you can't miss him. I owe him a punch in the face.

Aside from that, I should not need to remind you that even though school is on holiday, the usual campus rules still apply! ...Actually, this break is unusually long, isn't it? Several months is too long to go without classes... I highly encourage everyone to study over the summer so that the start of the next school year is not wasted on reviewing things that may otherwise be forgotten! It would be much more efficient that way!

By the way, has anybody considered looking for work over the summer? I think it would be both a fantastic way to both strengthen one's sense of responsibility and earn a little spending money! If the crime in the city has diminished, then it is a good time to go out there and find something.
