With how late my class started, and the end'a the year comin' up quick, it don't make a whole lot'a sense to make you guys sit through some bullshit final when it's only gonna cover two months of material. Congrats, guys, you get mine off. Sure you're psyched.

Still, I gotta come up with something for next year, an' I might as well make it as easy an' entertaining for me as I can. Guess I could just ask what you need me to cover, but that is boring as shit, and we got better things to do with our time.

[Nyx brightens up, grinning wide and speaking like this is the best news she could possibly deliver.]

Like beat the shit outta each other! Am I right? 'Course I am.

Nothin' too fancy, just some basic sparrin' matches so I can get an idea where everyone's at, what they need, shit like that. This is s'posed to help my students, but I don't give a fuck if you're a student or teacher or what, bring a rioter in off the streets for all I care. I'd love to show 'em what the stadium can make 'em bounce back from. I got signup sheets all around the school, you guys oughta be able to figure out what to do with that. You got until the start of June, then I'm postin' the matchups.

[So, everyone was out giving gifts, huh? Ohhh, Doopliss had a great gift idea for everyone at the school.

Everyone in the school gets an anonymous gift, complete with some cheesy sentimental card wishing them a very Merry Christmas or some crap like that. It appears to be a box filled with chocolates, or other types of candy if some poor soul doesn't like chocolate! Oh, joy!

However, should they open the box, they won't get chocolate, oh no. Instead, they get a ton of bothersome Boos flying out of the box and into their face!!

...wait, how was Doopliss going to round back up all of those Boos and put them back in his box again? He...really didn't think this through, huh.]

[Hey, what's that racket coming from the common room?

Oh, it's just Doopliss, hogging the TV. The volume on it is at full blast. It didn't need to be at full blast, but to be frank, he really didn't care. What did he care about other people being bothered by this? They needed to sleep? Pfft, whatever!

If you were to actually get closer, it would seem that he spends more time flipping through the channels than actually staying on one. He seems pretty focused on finding something good on. That, or maybe he's just really thinking about something...but considering how loud the television is right now, it's kind of impossible to hear yourself think, so that might not be it.]

[Skull Kid had been playing with his shiny new portal gun just as the effects of a blue lollipop kicked in. After a few minutes of staring at the portal on the ceiling, he decides the best course of action is to make an announcement to everyone:]

There's a hole in the ceiling.

Dear Liza, dear Liza.

...

[Gasp!] Everybody.

[His voice drops to a whisper.] My hands are huge.

[Then he tilts his head back to stare at the portal on the ceiling some more.]

It has come to my attention recently that we have enough of the walking dead among our students and faculty to form an official club of some sort. I think it's high time we had something of a support system, or exclusive activities that the living just wouldn't understand.

I could only be a faculty advisor if this came to be, but surely there would be enough interest amongst student club members to really get things going?

[There is a tap on the screen as Eikichi works around with the tiny camera - being from 1999, he isn't very used to all this ~modern technology~ and the fact the thing is so tiny. However, it is obvious he is very excited about it...yet also that this guy is, for a lack of better words, an idiot about it.

But finally...VICTORY! Well for him anyway. Everyone else just gets pain.]

Dearest Smash Academy, are you ready to be rocked by the lovely, talented, beautiful Michel? Now now, don't be shy all of you babes currently watching this video, Michel's gonna make sure you all get to see him in his full glory!

[He sighs wistfully, adjusting his already (totally) perfect hair.]

[Who is that shrouded figure floating through the halls this Valentine's Day? A GHOST!?!? No, it's just Flurrie, covered head to toe in black. She won't speak to you at first; instead all you'll get is a sniffle and maybe a sigh. If there is any kind of seating nearby, she might rush past you to swoon on it. At other times of the day, she's in her office with the door shut tight. She's also left a curious message on the network:]

My apologies, but due to certain circumstances I am forced to cancel my office hours today. I... I want to be alone!

[Ever wondered what a drama queen in mourning looked like? Now you know. The question remains: what's got her so upset?]

[You can't really help making an entrance when you're a dragon. It's not like you can quietly sneak in any place. And certainly not when you hadn't expected to be in that place from the get go.
So if you guys heard something rumbling around outside earlier, that was just Angelus crash landing in a way she is never going to admit to ever having landed. Ever. She's old, you know, she knows how to land!

After those shenanigans though? She's helped much like anyone else to register at the school and whatnot. She's even given a dorm room - BW-09, second floor, girl's dorm. She has no trouble finding the building itself but... well.

You folks don't really mind a big ol' eye peeping through windows, right? Particularly poor Eli, once she figures out just which of these rooms is BW-09. What in the heck is she supposed to do with this? :|
For now she's simply settled on top of the building itself, huffing out steam in annoyance now and then. Until she announces in a crisp tone:]

I should have known strange portals were no good. What is the use in all of this?

[OoC Notes!

Long story short: Caim killed the Kraken and pretty much displayed his killing by leaving pieces of it everywhere for people to find. So the dormitory halls, the classroom halls, the unlocked classrooms, the cafeteria, the bathrooms? Yeah. They all have at least something, even if it's really small. If you skimmed the narrative (which I wouldn't blame you for), then just note that the head of the Kraken can be found put on display in front of the main office for the Hands.

For those who did read the narrative, Caim's reference to the Seed of Destruction can be seen here. It might be a bit spoileriffic for anyone who doesn't want to know, so don't click it if you're trying to avoid everything. (Also, it's a bit graphic and not for the faint of heart, I suppose.) This is one of the last things Caim actually saw before he came to the academy. /useful tidbits of information

Also, for those who don't know who the Kraken is, you can take a look at this here, which I used to reference a lot of stuff in this narrative.

One would think the very idea of death is something absolutely unheard of. This isn't the first murder in the city this year. Anywhere with such a large population has one pop up in the news every so often. I wouldn't be surprised if this was drug- or gang-related, as they often are.

Now really, you are all being ridiculous. Yes, it is a terrible thing to have happen so near to the school. No, I don't think we're all in immediate danger.

Besides, doing so much as swatting a bug is akin to murder in Final Destination. Just some food for thought.

My roommate took off. It's about time. She said it was only for a little while but maybe she'll get eaten by a Pokemon while she's home, and Red and I will have the room to ourselves again. I hate that the Hands keep giving me roommates, it's such a pain. You'd think nobody but me would want a haunted dorm, but I guess I was wrong.

And if anybody sees the new Health teacher, tell him HE OWES ME MONEY.

[MEANWHILE, all over campus, Ashley is stalking about as usual. GOSH I HOPE YOU'RE NOT AN UNSUSPECTING DIALGA. Or an unsuspecting anyone, for that matter. If you're looking for magical assistance, however, you can always INQUIRE WITHIN BW-01, at your own risk, of course.]

[Caim is officially in the area. He's been given a room and an occupation. He doesn't even have to share with anyone. Isn't he a lucky guy? His room is barren. Of course it is. He came with nothing, except his sword, armour, and the clothes he wore. He's not wearing the armour, but he is wearing the same clothes, bloodstained and wonderful. Wearing stuff like that, he looks like a man of the land.

He's really unsure of how the video feed works. His right hand lifts, waves in front of the lens a few times. At no immediate response, he looks briefly annoyed. Come to think of it, he doesn't know what of the stuff is in his room. There's a computer complete with a keyboard, too. Too bad he doesn't know how to use it. But he does appear to have a notepad and a pen (or it could be a pencil; it's not possible to tell from the camera perspective).

And thank goodness there is no penance for the network community.]
