[Gee, where was Mac? Probably no one had seen him since yesterday, right? It was sometime in the morning. Maybe you clicked on the news, sat with your coffee. Everything was kind of normal. Right? Well there was a Special Report on that News Station.]

We're here to bring you new information on the recent murders that recently hit this town of Final Destination City.

Two new bodies have been located. Both were of younger men.

One body was of a waiter by the name of [name here] who worked at the Hanging Gardens diner. The other one was, upon the inspection of his ID, was a student at the Smash Academy by the name of Mac.

[That waiter's name is here] did not survive but the student however is still living, maintaining critical injuries and is being treated at the local hospital. He was found by a passerby who wanted to remain anonymous. The doctors expect him to recover in due time, but the police wish the question him if he could recall any details on how to catch the murderer.

I probably should have done this when I first arrived but with the masquerade and everything ... now is as good of a time as any. Though the network is super annoying right now.

Anyway. My name's Ray. I was here ... some ... number of years ago as a student, but things are gonna be a little different. I'm going to be teaching Atmospheric Sciences which is basically a fancy term for Meteorology which is just another fancy term for this is going to be an easy class as long as you pay attention to the simulations and, oh I don't know, read. There will probably be a lot of out-of-class observations since the weather tends to botch when I'm around. Gonna try and get that under control but. You know, whatever. It'll probably be useful to you flying types, if you don't already know how to look out for bad flying weather. But that's it.

Hey there, Smash Academy. I know it's late, but I thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself anyways. I'm your new Ancient Literature teacher, you can call me Kyogre.

[He gestures out the window, where you can still see the rain coming down.]

[Man, that was kind of morbid. He laughs though.]

[The webcam clicks on. An imposing, dark-skinned woman with stark black sclera stares into the camera. She seems to be sitting in a cave of sorts that has been fashioned into a Hideout. Those of you who were at Giovanni's field trip, or perhaps if you were choice members of Green team, may recognize those eyes as they tried to crush you with rocks. Thankfully, she seems to have calmed down considerably by now.

Her arms are crossed, as though expecting something to happen on her end. She doesn't move from her spot, nor does she speak. Although... she's been staring so long now that it's a little unnerving. It's almost like she's been waiting all this time for you, and now you've displeased her.

Wait, there's the slightest narrowing of her eyes. Then, her lips finally move.]

You cast a strange shadow, Mother.

[Pause.]

...I will remain here until it suits me. Thus is my decision.

I have opted to teach. Students may seek to learn my art so long as they harbour the will. Shaping earth is no skill for the weak. Any who wish to attempt, we meet at the foot of the mountain trail.

[She stares a moment longer, as though to add something else... but there was nothing. The feed turns off.]

[Riley's in his room, holding onto an egg really closely. He's not looking at the camera just yet, but it seems like Lucario turned it on as it's his face that's closest to the screen.

He's still clutching it protectively while Lucario keeps sniffing the camera. Then he notices what Lucario is doing.]

[Riley's expression suddenly changes. The egg in his hands! It's shaking and hatching! The man is utterly transfixed as the egg shell slowly crumbles away and a small brown and green Pokemon emerges. He doesn't move, but holds the Pokemon close to himself.]

It's... it's a Bonsly. N, it's... oh N, I need him...

[He's a little unsure of what to do now but he's still clutching the baby Pokemon very tightly. Lucario on the other hand, is making sure all of this is on camera and clapping in a congratulatory manner. Riley, you're a dad now!]

[If anyone ventures down near the stadium at all today, they'll find Hilda there, most of her pokemon scattered around and goofing off to various degrees, with Hilda half hearted joining in on the rough and tumble. On the side lines, the Hydreigon and Zebstrika relax, watching the others. For now. anyway.

And for any with sharp noses, Hilda and her pokemon smell strongly of foreign scents - notably dragon and two others. Reshiram., Cobalion and Victini.]

Attention Geology students, and all interested!

We have been presented with an invaluable opportunity by the local museum. There is an archaeological dig occurring outside of town, and we have been asked if we would like to participate in it! So, I would like to offer this as extra credit to everyone in the class, and also a learning oppertunity to others. Lots of food will be provided, so even if it's merely for that, I will accept your attendance. There will be a lecture as well, however, this is mostly a fun opportunity to get out of the classroom and earn an easy 100.

So, who's interested? It's next Saturday and Sunday, and we will be camping at the site.

I have decided that perhaps building a recreation of Iron Island in Minedcraft was probably not the most productive use of my time. Ah, but I have been preoccupied with a certain procurement from the Pokemon Petting Zoo that requires most of my attention and perhaps Minedcraft was the best thing I could do.

Peculiar, isn't it when perhaps the best thing to sometimes do is to do nothing at all?

But this isn't about that.

My skills in battling, sad to say, has gone a bit rusty. I have no lack of training but there's only so much you and your team can do on their own. Almost like playing chess with yourself.

So I shall place this challenge here: I shall battle any trainer, any Pokemon or even... should some of you wish, yourselves against my team.

[Lucario pops up in the corner of the frame and waves a paw to the camera, yes he is one of the main Pokemon you will be battling.]

Obviously this is all in the name of friendly clashing. Winners gets a small token of appreciation from me.

[He grins at the camera. And he is putting on his oh so charming voice while putting his hat back on his head.]

I'm heading home for my birthday and I leave in two days. Mum and dad want to be there for my 16th, and they are paying. 8D. I believe that we're going up to Nimbasa or around there, but dad didn't say much.

[Video feed on! Greeting you is a lithe looking blonde boy, or rather the very close up view of the freckles on his cheek because he pulls away from the computer webcam. He adjusts said camera for a moment until he produces a small, satisfied smile. There we are.]

You know, that was quite the party last week. [There's something subtly sarcastic in that smile of his. Maybe it's just the pointy looking canines or the glimmer in his red eyes.] I'd almost forgotten how welcoming this place can be at the most inopportune times. Oh, that's right. With the beginning of this new school year I had nearly forgotten to introduce myself to all the wonderful new faces. My name is Seth Richardson. I'm a ne--[pause] well, I guess I'm not so new any longer, am I? I came in a bit late this last year, so I'm technically still a senior. And you know what every senior needs? A fraternity.

Frankly, I'm surprised this place doesn't have a dozen of them already, but they're a bit uncouth for my tastes. So! I'm starting up a Host Club. Anyone of any age with any sense of class is invited. Just a nice little weekly get-together down in, AE-13. There will be tea parties, entertainment, maybe some fund raising here and there, and intelligent adult discussions on real-world issues. I know that might be hard to come by in a place like this but if you can handle that, do leave a note here or drop by. Snacks and drinks are on the house~

That automatically excludes unruly and violent pyromaniacs, so Blaze won't be joining us. It's for the better, really.

[Caim is officially in the area. He's been given a room and an occupation. He doesn't even have to share with anyone. Isn't he a lucky guy? His room is barren. Of course it is. He came with nothing, except his sword, armour, and the clothes he wore. He's not wearing the armour, but he is wearing the same clothes, bloodstained and wonderful. Wearing stuff like that, he looks like a man of the land.

He's really unsure of how the video feed works. His right hand lifts, waves in front of the lens a few times. At no immediate response, he looks briefly annoyed. Come to think of it, he doesn't know what of the stuff is in his room. There's a computer complete with a keyboard, too. Too bad he doesn't know how to use it. But he does appear to have a notepad and a pen (or it could be a pencil; it's not possible to tell from the camera perspective).

And thank goodness there is no penance for the network community.]
