[OoC Notes!

Long story short: Caim killed the Kraken and pretty much displayed his killing by leaving pieces of it everywhere for people to find. So the dormitory halls, the classroom halls, the unlocked classrooms, the cafeteria, the bathrooms? Yeah. They all have at least something, even if it's really small. If you skimmed the narrative (which I wouldn't blame you for), then just note that the head of the Kraken can be found put on display in front of the main office for the Hands.

For those who did read the narrative, Caim's reference to the Seed of Destruction can be seen here. It might be a bit spoileriffic for anyone who doesn't want to know, so don't click it if you're trying to avoid everything. (Also, it's a bit graphic and not for the faint of heart, I suppose.) This is one of the last things Caim actually saw before he came to the academy. /useful tidbits of information

Also, for those who don't know who the Kraken is, you can take a look at this here, which I used to reference a lot of stuff in this narrative.

For those who may wish to confront Caim (as he didn't go in disguise for this) once they've discovered it's him (or if they've known all along), you can either contact me about it, or form up a mob (as I'm sure more than one person would like to give Caim his just desserts). Who's up for a camping trip? I got the arena booked on friday and I've got a nice campground programmed in. Gotta be nicer than camping in the cold at this time of year, huh? Anyone game?

[Good day Smash Academy. FYI, your school has just gotten more obnoxious by a substantial margin. Like, by at least 15-20% in one blow I would say. Why is that?

Well, it’s because of the fat kid currently on video on the communicator. He looks about thirteen, shaggy blonde hair that probably hasn’t seen the sharp edge of a pair of scissors for a year or so doing their best to obscure his eyes. Along with the weight problem, he looks…ill. His skin is a bizarre, light shade of blue. He’s also wearing a large, mean grin on his face as he stands on top of a chair in his dorm room, his left leg perched upon the chair back, occasionally rocking it to tip the legs back and forth. He’s set the communicator on the top of something else to focus on him, clearly wanting to hog the imaginary spotlight he’s created for himself.

And his voice? Has no right to be as sure as it sounds, or lay everything on so thickly as he speaks.]

So, alright, funny story. Usually I wouldn’t pay half a mind to your little rinky-dink school but I was cruising around space and time – you know, awesomely – and I was kind of bored for a bit when I noticed this hole in the ground. So, being the nice guy I am, I thought I’d be gracious enough to drop in and say hi, maybe stay for a while and see if you nerds actually do anything worthwhile.

Now that we all know each other, let’s set some ground rules about how things are going to be from now on. I-

[Unfortunately, the boy’s proclamation is interrupted as he rocks too hard on the chair, the chair tipping forward and spilling the boy forward. He apparently ends up hitting whatever was holding the communicator up hard enough that the communicator knocks over and turns off, ending the feed.]

Umm, okay, I'm not sure how to go about saying this... Did anybody else get an invitation to a blind date?

Maybe nobody here minds, but... I do! I can't go on a blind date! I'M MARRIED!!

But the way they're phrasing this makes it seem as though it's a mandatory event if you were given the slip, so I'm not sure what I should do, but I'm thinking I should contact someone and let them know that I can't date someone if I'm actually married and definitely in love...

[If one were to listen to this audio clip, they'd firstly hear some shuffling going on in the background before they hear Sable! Her voice is soft and kind of groggy, but it's definitely her nonetheless.]

Good…well, good morning, I guess. It’s a bit odd to call it morning right now, but I digress. It’s about…3:30 in the morning, I believe? I…think that’s what time it is now oh wait I can see the little clock on my computer, yes, it’s around that time. Anyway.

I haven’t been able to get much sleep tonight. I think I might have drank one too many cups of coffee yesterday, hee hee. But in any case, I have been trying to get some sleep to no avail, so here I am, making this little post, just to pass the time and see if this’ll help me get to sleep.

Mmm, perhaps I’m pulling too many all nighters…sometimes I just get so wrapped up in my own projects that I completely lose track of time! It's nice to get into the zone while doing something that you like, but it can be both a blessing and a curse sometimes, I'm quickly realizing that. And I guess, usually, whenever something like this happens when I can't sleep, I try to busy myself with some knitting...but right now I'm just not up for it. I suppose I should ask this, but when you can't get any sleep at all, no matter how much you try, what do you do?

[There is a short pause, then she sighs.]

...well, talking like this isn't making me tired at all. Maybe all I need to do is to get out of my apartment for a while. I think I'm going to take a walk to the school and see if that helps out at all. Sigh, I'm going to be a wreck tomorrow, I just know it...

[Video feed on! Greeting you is a lithe looking blonde boy, or rather the very close up view of the freckles on his cheek because he pulls away from the computer webcam. He adjusts said camera for a moment until he produces a small, satisfied smile. There we are.]

You know, that was quite the party last week. [There's something subtly sarcastic in that smile of his. Maybe it's just the pointy looking canines or the glimmer in his red eyes.] I'd almost forgotten how welcoming this place can be at the most inopportune times. [Like, you know, during Very Important Cat Nap times.]

Oh, that's right. With the beginning of this new school year I had nearly forgotten to introduce myself to all the wonderful new faces. My name is Seth Richardson. I'm a ne--[pause] well, I guess I'm not so new any longer, am I? I came in a bit late this last year, so I'm technically still a senior. And you know what every senior needs? A fraternity.

Frankly, I'm surprised this place doesn't have a dozen of them already, but they're a bit uncouth for my tastes. So! I'm starting up a Host Club. Anyone of any age with any sense of class is invited. Just a nice little weekly get-together down in, AE-13. There will be tea parties, entertainment, maybe some fund raising here and there, and intelligent adult discussions on real-world issues. I know that might be hard to come by in a place like this but if you can handle that, do leave a note here or drop by. Snacks and drinks are on the house~

That automatically excludes unruly and violent pyromaniacs, so Blaze won't be joining us. It's for the better, really.

[Truth is, Nancy just came back from the farmer's market. Now that the school has a bigger budget and everything is cheaper at this time of the season.]
