If anyone thinks I left again, I just want to assure you guys that I didn't. I was just in the hospital a while thanks to a freak accident. Let's not discuss what that accident was.

Final exam time should be soon. For those unfamiliar with Zoology finals, I'll be taking you guys on a field trip to a danger-filled dungeon and you'll have to make your way through, getting past its nasties with the knowledge you've gained from this class. If I'm not fully recovered by then to save your hides should you decide to screw around, I'll get an able-bodied adventurer to chaperone with us. A place should be decided within a week.

I've disappeared a lot this year, so maybe I'll make this one easier than usual.

Anyone know where I can find a good part-time job?

I expect a box of chocolates from each of my students tomorrow. Grades will be based on quality. Anyone who doesn't comply will fail.

There's something I want to try out at the stadium next Sunday and I need volunteers to play along. I will guarantee anyone interested that while there won't be any bloodshed, it will still be pretty violent for your fighting fetishes.

In a nutshell, you'll be sparring with assigned props. I can't give out anymore detail until the end of it.

Stadium, Next Sunday, 7pm. Preferrably students, but I shouldn't let the faculty miss out on all the fun!

[OoC Notes!

Long story short: Caim killed the Kraken and pretty much displayed his killing by leaving pieces of it everywhere for people to find. So the dormitory halls, the classroom halls, the unlocked classrooms, the cafeteria, the bathrooms? Yeah. They all have at least something, even if it's really small. If you skimmed the narrative (which I wouldn't blame you for), then just note that the head of the Kraken can be found put on display in front of the main office for the Hands.

For those who did read the narrative, Caim's reference to the Seed of Destruction can be seen here. It might be a bit spoileriffic for anyone who doesn't want to know, so don't click it if you're trying to avoid everything. (Also, it's a bit graphic and not for the faint of heart, I suppose.) This is one of the last things Caim actually saw before he came to the academy. /useful tidbits of information

Also, for those who don't know who the Kraken is, you can take a look at this here, which I used to reference a lot of stuff in this narrative.

For those who may wish to confront Caim (as he didn't go in disguise for this) once they've discovered it's him (or if they've known all along), you can either contact me about it, or form up a mob (as I'm sure more than one person would like to give Caim his just desserts). I'd be happy to work with anything as long as I know beforehand.

Ameratsu for secret santa: Knuckles doesn't know you very well except you and Bob fought pretty hard on that one Rescue Mission. And that you are a big puppy. You, therefore, get a box of tennis balls.

Cream: You get a big plush My Little Ponyta: Friendship is Awesome toy. It's a Rainbow Splash Seahorse Pony. Because everyone knows she's the cool one. (Right? That's what the kids these days are into, right?)

Ganondorf: A bottle of nice scotch in a set with two glasses. In other words 'We should totally sit down and drink this one of these days bra'.

Blaze: A fancy hair clip with a jewel on it that sort of looks like a Chaos Emerald. Knuckles has never seen the Sol Emeralds, but assumes they sort of look the same. He is wrong but the thought is there any way.

Silver: Some hair spray. You must be using some SERIOUS product to keep that 'do airborne, after all.

Eggman: A Xerox of Knuckles' butt.

Raikov: A Xerox of Knuckles' butt.

Cyrus: A Xerox of Knuckles' butt.

Librarians: A hand written apology for using the Library Xerox machine to make Xeroxes of his butt.

Goombella: A pretty sweater, some replacement bulbs for her Plinth helmet's light, a copy of reservations for two at a fancy shmancy upscale restaurant in town and a card. In the card is a note apologizing for not being around as much as he'd like, an apology for probably making her worry, and a promise to make up for it.

Voile: He's never quite sure what to get you, Voile. This year it is a set of mittens. They are green and fuzzy and will hopefully keep those little hands of yours nice and warm should you be outside.

Everyone else Knuckles knows and likes: You get fruit this year. Knuckles is not feeling exactly CHRISTMASSY right now so he got some good, fresh fruit from the wholefoods market, some nice bags and baskets and a whole big pile of cards. Each card has some variation of 'happy holidays' or 'merry christmas' on it.

I'm spending Christmas exploring the moon and perhaps other parts of this space. Should I be able to snag a ship that could carry more people and house a bar with a drinks expert or something, Who'd else would like to go?

[In West Final Destinay, bored and lazy, in the rich clubs where he spent most of his days. Breaking in, thieving, escaping all cool and all shooting some night guards outside by the pool when a couple of guys, they were up to some good! Started making trouble in the neighborhood. he got in one little fight with the cops on his tail, they said "You're moving with the psychos and the thugs in a jail!" He whistled for the jeep and when it appeared the license plate said "smash" and Sandbag's in the rear! If anything he thought that this ride's uncool, but no time to bother; go home to the school! They pulled up to campus 'round 7 or 8 and he said to the bag, "I'll punch you more some later." He looked at the school, he was finally here! To finally sleep until the start of next year.]

[Except he'll be up by sunday afternoon for his usual rounds of getting food, setting up his office for the week and otherwise wandering around aimlessly. But he's pretty tired.]

Hello again, Smash Academy. It's so lovely to be back once again~.

I apologize for leaving so suddenly, there were important matters I had to attend to at the Mushroom Kingdom. Everything is resolved, so I can return to the school at ease knowing everything is now under control.

I've noticed some fresh faces around here, my name is Peach. I was previously a student here but I have now signed up to be a Teacher's Assistant. So I hope to still see you all in class. And don't ever be shy if any of you need my help at all.

Forgive me for not attending the masquerade festivities. I'm not really into the whole prancing around in costume thing. My Lord English coat just isn't wotking out for me.

I've been looking for outside work to fulfil my urges of beat-stuff-up excitement, but I'll try not to skip town again. At least without telling her this time.

I don't think I could refer to last week's thing as a date, but it was interesting.

Once I got to look back on it after chugging a bottle of Purell once I got home.

It's me, General Guy. You may have seen me around campus over the past few years, attending classes at both the high school and university level. However, I've recently accepted a job as an administrative assistant to the hands. Now, you may be asking yourself what this changes. Simply put, everything. I will be delivering messages from them to you, and vice versa.
Basically, it will do you well to treat me with some more respect than you're used to- I could potentially make things rather difficult for you, if you catch my meaning!

I only just got here this morning, so the first class will run next Friday at noon-ish.  To all you new people, I run a series of classes that study monsters and things that block the paths of adventurers and give them hell.  By the book, it's called "Zoology."  Sometimes we meet the live ones and sometimes we cut up the dead ones.   It'll be fun.
