[OoC Notes!

Long story short: Caim killed the Kraken and pretty much displayed his killing by leaving pieces of it everywhere for people to find. So the dormitory halls, the classroom halls, the unlocked classrooms, the cafeteria, the bathrooms? Yeah. They all have at least something, even if it's really small. If you skimmed the narrative (which I wouldn't blame you for), then just note that the head of the Kraken can be found put on display in front of the main office for the Hands.

For those who did read the narrative, Caim's reference to the Seed of Destruction can be seen here. It might be a bit spoileriffic for anyone who doesn't want to know, so don't click it if you're trying to avoid everything. (Also, it's a bit graphic and not for the faint of heart, I suppose.) This is one of the last things Caim actually saw before he came to the academy. /useful tidbits of information

Also, for those who don't know who the Kraken is, you can take a look at this here, which I used to reference a lot of stuff in this narrative.

For those who may wish to confront Caim (as he didn't go in disguise for this) once they've discovered it's him (or if they've known all along), you can either contact me about it, or form up a mob (as I'm sure more than one person would like to give Caim his just desserts). I'd be happy to work with anything as long as I know beforehand.

[Waka honestly doesn't celebrate Christmas. Like, at all. The Moon Tribe had nothing remotely Christmas-like, so he grew accustomed to this time of year being average. Despite that, he still gives a few gifts.

Amaterasu gets a handmade necklace made of large, pretty beads. They're even shiny and orange, too. (Sorry, they ain't stray beads.) This also comes with a pretty origami flower, pink like cherry blossoms.

Chibiterasu gets the same as Ammy, just smaller and with a yellow flower instead!

Pit gets a lovely piece of feather headwear, much like this. He thought it would be fitting for a fellow celestial being.

Poo gets some sweet smelling incense and a very pretty burner to go along with it. It's pretty darn good quality, too!

Duster gets this pretty, antique violin.

All Capcom alumni that he knows of gets a pretty Feng Shui charm with the Capcom ensemble on it. Pretty!

Finally, his students all get cute little Japanese ornaments for their trees. Well, except for the failing delinquents. They just get lumps of coal from an anonymous someone. HMMMMMMMM.]

[It's been nearly two months since Nabooru has actually publicly spoken. And she hasn't been available much on the network either.

The only things worse than this stupid time of year and the cold weather it brings are the ridiculous traditions that go along with it.

[Want to know what she's talking about? Snow. It's the academy's first snowfall of the year. And certainly not the last. And Nabooru really, really doesn't like snow. Or cold weather, period.]

We have a music instructor, I believe. At least one.
It's been put off long enough. Let's have that joint class for the students. There's little time to be wasted.

I could use a distraction.

[One may notice Waka has been surprisingly absent during the day. The sweet melodies of Pillowtalk's flute are now more scarce. The strange blonde man has been very rarely seen outside of class, and even then, he seems a little more hurried to get off of campus afterward.

This is because he takes his day to prepare, and then under the familiar moonlight, a symbol of his heritage, he comes out. He skulks about the school late, when no one else is around, to do more investigation. Why?

Well, he always is very sneaky by nature -- cautious, if you will -- so this is pretty characteristic of him to make a stealthier move. He doesn't want to seem obvious. When does he ever?

Of course, there is still security and staff lurking around at this time, too, and maybe even a nosy student or two. He doesn't expect to be completely alone at all, yet this is still the best time, he feels.

He would rather get what he needed to bring the enemy closer, and then, like the harshest gale, strike.]

[Gee, where was Mac? Probably no one had seen him since yesterday, right? It was sometime in the morning. Maybe you clicked on the news, sat with your coffee. Everything was kind of normal. Right? Well there was a Special Report on that News Station.]

We're here to bring you new information on the recent murders that recently hit this town of Final Destination City.

Two new bodies have been located. Both were of younger men.

One body was of a waiter by the name of [name here] who worked at the Hanging Gardens diner. The other one was, upon the inspection of his ID, was a student at the Smash Academy by the name of Mac.

[That waiter's name is here] did not survive but the student however is still living, maintaining critical injuries and is being treated at the local hospital. He was found by a passerby who wanted to remain anonymous. The doctors expect him to recover in due time, but the police wish the question him if he could recall any details on how to catch the murderer.

More on this in a minute. We will be sure to update you once we have more information on this news.

Thought I should introduce myself.

[With all the DEAD BODY STUFF going on this might be a bad time. Or the perfect time. Either way, someone has to keep the school going on through a time of discomfort. FRANK'S HERE TO TAKE CARE OF IT until he can but this dead body case wide open and get all the scoops.]

It took a little longer than I was hoping, what with getting my dorm patched up after those pranksters trashed it, but I got the photos from the masquerade up. The good news is everyone looks great in them, which is only natural when you have the right photographer. The bad news is some wise-ass photobombed every single one of them. I don't even remember seeing this guy anywhere. Anyone know who to thank for that?

[And who is the mystery photobomber? Some tall guy in a suit and tie. His mask is pretty unusual as it makes him look totally bald and faceless... But maybe it's just a bit of motion blur. Who knows.]

I'll be joining your senior class as a transfer student from Capcom. [... He removes his glasses for a split moment, cleaning them on the end of his swag yellow scarf. ] It's been a while since I've been around the city, this part of it included. Funny how it changes so quickly... [... What else do I talk about... Oh. Right. ]

My name's Blues, and I was looking for a couple of my brothers, who I heard were currently present here. [Glasses are back on... and feed cuts.]

[He knows they're here and he's not really looking, but he might as well make it easier for them to find him. Ahaha...]

[The video feed turns on to show a little blond boy with blue eyes, halfway on his desk. Perhaps he was turning on the webcam? He climbs down from the desk and kneels on his chair.]

I had to not shave yesterday for my costume, so I've got a day's head start on the rest of you.

It's been a while since I last posted! Hi everyone! It's me, Pit! How are you doing this October month? It's been raining a lot, so I bought a new umbrella. It comes in very handy for me and it's blue with green spots. My favorite colors! I'd open it right now but it's over there and I'm under a roof and I don't want any bad luck!

Soooooo anyway it looks like we have a masquerade ball on Halloween! Wow, I've never been to one before... I have no idea what to do except look it up. [His smile evens out a little more.] It's traditional, so I have to make sure I do this right! The costumes sure do look complicated. I wonder if I'll even know where to start?

[Taps his chin a couple times] I really don't know what I'm getting myself into! [Then, he presses his hands together.] But I'm excited anyway. Okay I'm done making a video! Press the button, Miracle!

For my returning students, I hope you have been practicing while I've been away. You all know how I dislike slackers...
