I think hovering donuts are what really sold me. I've been itching to get out of here for a while! Staying in one place for so long is totally weird for me, I gotta get my feet moving. This was just supposed to be a pit stop before I kept going to another region, after all. I had a trip all planned out since June, so now's the time!

Seems like an awful lot of the shindigs around here involve water, huh? Ain't as bad as a school trip to a hot spring, but I'm still lookin' forward to the day we take a field trip to an active volcano or two.

[Chin in the palm of her hand, Voile looks... bored? Tired? Curious? A plethora of things, probably. She's certainly not jumping up and down for joy, so that's probably just the general indication that she's got a lot on her mind.

I read that the twenty-first year is important or to be treated as a 'rite of passage' into adulthood in some cultures and societies. In Hoenn, we didn't really have anything like this, and before coming to this academy, I wasn't 'assigned' an age. Yet it would seem my twenty-first is upon me.

Tomorrow, anyway.

[She pauses.]

I was wondering what I should do with it. For it. If anything. I wouldn't normally celebrate it as age itself seems something irrelevant to me, but if it's important, maybe I should respect the tradition. And I guess I could benefit from something a little more lighthearted considering the circumstance.

I was given an account on this journal network and told to post on it, so let's cut right to the chase. My name is Byakuya Togami, of the Togami Conglomerate. I will be attending classes at this school once the new semester begins. My prior school was Hope's Peak Academy, and many of my former classmates can be found on Smash Academy's campus, unfortunately.

I was also given a key to a dorm by a very impetuous person in a bomber jacket. My dorm is full of animals. This is baffling. I'm not moving in until pest control is called. Do it soon, or I'll never be able to get the smell of wet dog out of the bedding.

Finally, tell me more about the curfew. What are the penalties for staying out after Night Time?

Hi, everyone. Some of you might remember me, and some of you might not. But my name is Sonny Moe and I'm very happy to meet you! I'm Red's Snorlax. I used to go to this school a little over a year ago, but then I went... somewhere for a week and when I came back, I was told that a whole year had passed?

Has anyone else had that happen? And if you have, what did you do to make things feel less weird?

Um. Anyway, I'm rooming with Little Mac in room BE-03, now. I wanted to go around and see everyone to catch up but I'm actually really, really tired. Really tired. So maybe if it's OK people who want to see me can come and see me there? I can't wait to meet up with my friends and see what they've been doing for the past year!

ALWAYS BRINGING ME DOWN~ [Video]

[The video feed turns on to show Gordon upside-down.]

[Or rather, Gordon is turned one way and the camera is upside-down and floating next to him. His labcoat flutters slowly behind him like a bone-white cape in a superhero comic book. Things float out of an open cabinet behind him (light bulbs, screws, science toys, a Rubik's cube,) and he turns to hastily shove them back in and slam the door before addressing the camera.]

As a notice to students, the math and science building's gravity has been temporarily... nullified. Or at least it will be temporary as soon as I figure out how to fix it.

[A gyroscope that he missed drifts past the camera's view, seeming to taunt him. He grumbles.]

The boundaries of the fly zone are marked in a circle around the building. Classes will not be canceled, but students are encouraged to be careful inside and outside the building. No one's going to float away, the sphere has an upper limit that's about twenty feet above the roof of the building, but use your heads and don't leave things lying around because it won't stay in one place for long.

I'll be honest, all this stuff going on in the city is really freaking me out. I just want to say, I love all my friends, human or non-human! Pokemon, robots, werewolves, ghosts, Pikmin, whatever! I think you're all great and I hope you all stay safe.

I'm leaving for a little while. Not because I'm scared or anything like that! I'm just visiting a friend. I'll be in Hyrule and I'll have my PokeGear with me, if any of you guys need to reach me! I'll be back in like a couple of weeks, probably! Everyone, stay safe! I know I already said it, but... I mean it, OK?

I think Alorah and Maisy will be sticking around here at school, since I know they have classes and stuff...

[It was that time of year again. There was a small gift in the form of a satchel of tea leaves for the people that Vinnie considered family. Red got a strong, black tea; Marie, a sweet berry tea blend; Sasha's had spicy peppercherry as a base. Though not technically a member of his team, Voile still received a subtle, white tea.

However: this year, for whatever reason, Green and Blue's team also got a surprise present. Green tea was reserved for Green (ha ha); Bulba was paired with sweet-smelling jasmine leaves; Char had smoky, cinder horse mix; Jolt's was a refreshing oolong; even Nyx got something, a ginger tea. Blue, on the other hand, was given a chrysanthemum tea, and both Jock and Blake got classic belle tart seed.

Each packet was signed with a scribble of a flower.

Max, on the other hand, got a mug.]

I'm heading home for a bit t'check up on family. There's some shit I need t'take care of in Vermilion, too. I've got my phone if you need me - it's some sort've satellite thing, so it oughta work even if I'm not in the usual reception range.

Look, we all know this FDC riots business is bullshit. No one needs me tossin' my two cents in, but unfortunately, I feel the need to. All the fuckin' Pokemon trainers on this campus better keep a close eye on their Pokemon, humanized or not. Take it from someone who knows, you don't want to be sitting there, lamenting the fact that you were too late to stop something from happening.

It's not a good feeling.

I know my own can take care of themselves, but it's not stopping me. Bulba, Char, Jolt, Nyx. If you wanna go to the city at any time, I'm coming with you. I don't give a shit, we're going together. Not a single one of you looks especially human, so that's that.

Hello again, Smash Academy! It's an absolute pleasure to be back.

First, I must extend my apologies to those I may have worried by disappearing unannounced for so long! To put it simply, I had an engagement back in Mushroom Kingdom a few months ago and ended up getting... ah, a little sidetracked.

I can't say I'm surprised to see a few unfamiliar faces around campus since I've been back! So, please allow me to introduce myself! I am Princess Peach Toadstool from the Mushroom Kingdom. Just Peach is fine, though! ♡ It's lovely to have the opportunity to meet all of you! Please, don't hesitate to introduce yourself to me.

Oh, and I've talked some things over with the Headmaster and I'm delighted to announce I've accumulated enough credits to graduate and take a teaching position upon my return!
