So... Who wants to be my Valentine!?
Alright, alright, I know it's short notice, but, hey...! If you don't have a Valentine yet, you don't have to be Valentine-less!
[Also, on the morning of Valentine's Day:
Alorah and Maisy will receive two Pokemon-themed cardboard Valentines, signed by Gold. As well as a small selection of berries, and a sheet of heart stickers for the two of them to split.
Jon- Gold's roommate- will find himself presented with breakfast in bed. It's not as English as Jon may have wanted, but there's plenty of meat. And he also gets a Pokemon-themed cardboard Valentine.]

[ There's a little sheep going around campus... okay no, not really. Sort of. There's a Mareep turned human going around, with a basket carried in both hands. It's filled with what looks like tissue paper, tied and wrapped around a thing. ... Like circular balls. Oh, how mysterious! Sometimes, her basket might look nearly empty. But no worries, 'cause she'll soon have more in there. And she's looking for people. Anyone. Everyone. You. Or maybe you. She's especially looking for faces she recognises, even if those faces don't recognise her. Or maybe she's never seen you before, but hey, if you're around and don't look terribly busy (or maybe you are), maybe this girl with too much light blonde hair will come over to you. What's up? And people whose rooms she knows of or of their classrooms, hey, you're getting a visit. Library goers, too. Greenhouses. The stadium. The gym. Everyone, you are going to meet this girl. Spoilers, for those with good noses: it smells like chocolate. ]

[ the odd guidance councilor has christmas lights still strung behind her in her office. ]
This Christmas is most strange. Just giving gifts to people without expecting anything in return. It's such a strange idea. It is... pleasant, however. Perhaps next year, I shall celebrate it as well. There isn't another holiday like it, is there? Hm. Well there is Valentine's Day, but it involves that curiously delicious chocolate.
Such strange holidays. I suppose it will take time to grow accustomed to them.

[Action, open, Arena Training Facilities][It's Monday afternoon, and anyone who booked time in the Arena for training might find their time slot bookended by, of all people, the... new science teacher?] [...and he doesn't seem to be doing too badly. In a strange set of orange armor, unloading simulated ammo into his vector-based AI attackers from weapons he draws from a hatch in the back. Unfortunately the battles he's used to are not the same as arena combat. The stages are too open. He's receiving about as much damage as he's dishing out.] [Action, open, Science Laboratory] [It's Tuesday morning, and for some reason Gordon isn't in class. If any student or teacher comes down to investigate they'll find out why: The blackboard in the lower labs filled with equations, diagrams, clusters of arrows pointing everywhere. Columns of numbers run along the left side, coordinates it seems, five or six at a time boxed and bearing legends like "high probability" and "not even Earth--too far removed." and "possible Xen relay signature. INVESTIGATE!" Books and manuscripts litter the lab table with titles like "Tensor analysis of dimensional cross-membrane resonances in string-based space." and "Orbifold-manifest solutions in ten-dimensional space." It seems to take a genius to even understand them.] [Said genius is, by the way, draped over the lab table, sound asleep.]

( Read more... )[ Starting today, you will see a little green bird poking around the campus every once and a while. Sometimes, she has a scrap of bread in her mouth, but she never sticks around for long.]
