[The feed flickers on, and at first, not much more can be seen beyond a ball of very creamy fluff with a leaf attached to it. What a way to start a video introduction, what with the Leafeon dipping its head and sniffing at the camera. What a funny contraption, it might think.

From behind it, however, a voice rings out, one that is gentle yet awfully fast.]

Thank you for greeting everyone, Leafeon...! How very kind of you.

[The Pokemon cries out with joy and hops away from the camera, leaving it focused on a very familiar face, one with hazy grey eyes and minty-green hair cascading down his back. His ponytail is notably undone for now, a nearby fan blasting in his direction as he tries to cool off. Despite his clearly weary and scalding condition, he smiles brightly into the camera, hands clapping together.]

Smash Academy! It has been far too long. [He glances off to the side, seeming a bit bashful.] I, ah... I must apologize. I had more of the world to see, and I left rather quickly. I was uncertain that I'd done the disenrollment process properly, as well... [He faces the camera again, looking more uplifted again.] Regardless, the hands have given me a warm welcome, so I suppose I have done nothing wrong. In fact, they have allowed me to increase my grade. It seems I am in college now...!

[He briefly pauses, a hand cupping his chin as he ponders.] Yet, I am not sure how to begin with my major... What does an aspiring Pokemon professor take...? [He shakes his head.] I would think that is not urgent yet. I have to check on my friends! My dear, dear friends...

[He folds his hands neatly on his lap, grinning.] I have missed you all. How are you doing? Are you all still here?

[Char is getting his shit all updated. First of all a day-early phone call that will never be mentioned to anyone ever. Second of all, reminding the journal network he exists. He's been flying under the radar a lot lately; barring the Marie incident, not a single fight has been picked, nor a single teacher backsassed. Awful lot of unexplained trips to the forest, but that's not especially out of the ordinary. Anyway! Video! Everyone's (least) favourite chayzard, at his computer, with a little bag. He pulls something out of it. Some kind of... square... nail?]

...Anyone recognize these? Someone left a bunch at the door for me. Figured maybe they were Souji's, but there was a note with my name. I dunno, guess a semi-literate carpenter's got a crush on me or something.

Anyway, Rhys is headed back to Viridian and Bulba's graduatin'. Another school year's over next month. Change in the air, and all that shit. If you graduates ain't got a plan by now, start panickin'. You're wastin' your life.

Speakin' of that, I spent the whole year doin' fuck-all. Guess I'd better get my own shit sorted out, 'cause I ain't squanderin' another year on pointless bullshit. Pick a major, drop out, or try my hand at teachin'. One of those.

Graduation is coming up, isn't it? Sodding hell - seems like I only just arrived. I suppose I might as well carry on here to do University level classes being as I've approval from CapHigh to do so. Not that I much care for this sort of thing mind, but is there any particular tradition that has to be slogged through to get to the end of the year here barring exams and the like? A dance, or a festival, or competitive egging of faculty cars?

So, I've been meaning to take some folks to Angel Island for a weekend vacation kinda deal for a while now. Between one thing n another, it's never quite materialized into being a thing that isn't just 'Hey it would be cool if...'.

So. Let's set a date. I'm thinking the 12th. If you're my buddy, you're good to go. I'll need a rough head count, though so if you're interested, drop a comment and we'll consider that your RSVP, alright?

Weather is starting to warm up so we should be good to do almost anything the Island has to offer includin' swim so bring some trunks if you're not the kinda person who dies when immersed in water! If you are the kinda person who dies when immersed in water, bring trunks anyway and sunbathe.

Plus Ones are allowed too, so long as they ain't gonna tear the place up too bad. And by too bad, I mean At All.

Hey folks, it's been a while, hasn't it? I'm sorry for the abrupt leave, but whenever the wild calls, you just really can't help but listen to it!

Anyways, for those who don't know me, I'm Lucas, Professor Rowan's Junior Assistant and a trainer of Sinnoh. I've been here for a good three years now, but I've been gone for a few months. I've actually made another change in my team, as much as I hated to leave some of them behind, I felt pretty bad not having some of them with me the last time. It won't be that hard to figure out which ones are mine, I promise! And... I also promise they'll still be on their best behavior, as always! Also, for the record, they're always itching for a battle, and we'd love to have one if anyone wants to accept the challenge!

Uh... have I missed anything really important lately? I know the last time I was here we had a killer on the loose. Did we catch them yet or something? Oh! At 7:00am on Sunday, March 18th, Max was a charizard.

At 7:01am on Sunday, March 18th, Max was no longer a charizard.

At 7:02am on Sunday, March 18th, after the initial shock of being a regular guy again wore off, Max realized that he had been a giant dick to some people. Especially to Char.

Oh great her worst nightmare came true

While I realize that I am a new student here on campus, I am rather disturbed to find out I have been signed on for the school's "Miss" Pageant Award that is taking place this Friday. I believed this was an occurrence that happened in Japanese High Schools and that a campus like Smash Academy would not be celebrating similarly.

And when the video switches on, the guy you see... looks and does not look like Max. It's Max with orange-red hair, a crazy amount of tattoos on his shoulders, chest, arms and face, and piercings. Why does Max have piercings. Why does Max have... piercings... where the frowny faces are.

Should you click on the video, this short message plays:

"So I got turned into a charizard. Just so you know. I sorta have trouble with the not breathin' fire part all the time," and if to accent this, a short burst of flame escapes his mouth at its conclusion.

I probably should have done this when I first arrived but with the masquerade and everything ... now is as good of a time as any. Though the network is super annoying right now.

Anyway. My name's Ray. I was here ... some ... number of years ago as a student, but things are gonna be a little different. I'm going to be teaching Atmospheric Sciences which is basically a fancy term for Meteorology which is just another fancy term for this is going to be an easy class as long as you pay attention to the simulations and, oh I don't know, read. There will probably be a lot of out-of-class observations since the weather tends to botch when I'm around. Gonna try and get that under control but. You know, whatever. It'll probably be useful to you flying types, if you don't already know how to look out for bad flying weather. But that's it.

[ This was a time for birthdays among Green Team. Two in particular. And so Rhys had gifts in little red bags outside the rooms of Nyx and Char earlier in the week.

Nyx's bag contained a wooden incense lantern, decorated with a full moon over a different locations of Kanto.

Char's held a stick of incense Ho-oh Ember, a simple holder for it, and a book about meditation leading to peace.
