Hey, kids, older folk. I've been instructed to introduce myself to the people of this school, so that's what I'm here to do. My name is Cid Highwind. I'm your new transportation officer, to get you to sporting events or relief efforts. Whatever you need, I'm the guy.

But give me any shit on the ride, and you'll be taking your shoes back!

On a serious note, I assume this means the students can go on field trips now, with you at the 'helm.'

Yes. The students can go on field trips. Anywhere in the world, I can get them there. Teachers, too, to get an escape from the kids.

[First and foremost Nabooru laughs. But she doesn't press the envelope with him. All in harmless fun, after all.

Then she smiles.]

Anywhere in the world, eh? That's a useful position. And you get to go whenever someone else wants to. It wouldn't be hard to take advantage of something like that. I'll keep that in mind when I feel like I want to go far away from here.

Hey, just because I am capable doesn't mean I'll do it. I'm no personal taxi service, free of charge! All trips need to be funded and approved by the school.

If you need a taxi service, however, I am sure we could come to an agreement.

Wait. So if I want to go on a vacation, I have to get school approval? What if it's the summer? You know we have a summer break for students and faculty.

[She smiles.]

And who's to say I wouldn't pay you handsomely?

If you need a taxi service, I am sure we could come to an agreement. If we're on break, you don't need school permissions, just a check. That's what I was getting at.

You're going to have to loosen up sometime. But, you know, I'm really very good at that, so if you need some help, you should consider me.
