Hi! Hello! Hi! My name's JOCK. I'm BLUE'S ARCANINE.

::looks thoughtful for a moment::

6. Mom is amazing. ::stares at hands intently:: Oh wow, I have more than six fingers on my front paws! Look at that! Uh, 7.
8. Look at all this hair I have on my face in this human body, isn't it crazy???
9. I like going for runs in the morning and eating raw steak for breakfast and I can probably run a million miles
10. I think mom's hair smells nice

I'm staying here now as a student! I should have put that up there, too. Bryony and Blake are here, too! They're on mom's team. Hi, mom! Hi, Bryony! Hi, Blake! I accidentally touched one of mom's disks and now I can be a human like mom! The big hands told me I could get a room with a kid named Link. They gave me this shirt! Mom says I'm handsome.

Sorry, Green was suffering a temporary case of paralysis, because that was definitely a large naked man that dragged his tongue across his cheek. The name 'Jock' did penetrate the iced over shell of his shocked brain, and after a moment of silent mental screaming, he wiped the drool off his face.

"Jock... You're a human."

[flamejock]

"It was an accident. I knocked over mom's TM disks," the puppy replied, still looking down at Blue's feet. "Sorry for jumping on you."

Aw, puppy, no, don't worry. Blue wasn't upset. Look, there was some fond scratching behind your ear as Blue crouched down.

"It's very new for all of us." She glanced over at Green. "Are you ok...?"

[rivalappeared]

"Fine," He replied, monotone. "Just unexpected. So, will Jock be joining the student body?"

Ha ha. Get it. Body.

[travelingbelle]

She chuckled. It was funny. "Well... That's up to him and if he'd like to keep using this."

The scratching continued.

[flamejock]

Jock sort of pawed at Blue's leg with his hands. "Blake and Bryony get to," he said. "You probably need somebody to look after them and make sure they're doing what they should be doing."

Jock you have no idea how to do any of this 'human' thing. You can barely walk.

[rivalappeared]

Green crossed his arms, the hint of a devious smile on his face.

"You know, you'll get your own room in the boy's quarters. You won't be able to stay with 'mom'."

[travelingbelle]

Blue politely smacked Green on the forehead.

"You would get to have your own room, though you'd be sharing it with someone else," Blue nodded. The smack was mostly for that look. "I think Blake and Bryony can look after themselves... but you do get to do this too, if you want to."

[flamejock]

Jock looked over at Green. What had he done that deserved a hit? Jock didn't know if he could trust this character -- he might be up to no good.

"They probably need me to tell them what to do," said Jock. "Especially Blake. He needs a lot of help. I can live in a room on my own with someone else. They can do it. I'm a million times braver than them."

A million (1,000,000) times.

"I can do anything."

He can do anything.

He can do anything. Green huffed and picked a piece of lint off his jacket.

"Blake's living in Bulba's old room."

There was a slight raise of Blue's eyebrows and she gave the Arcanine a tap on his nose. "They're both just as brave as you are, and you can leave telling them what to do to me." There was certain firmness in her voice, implying an underlaying command there.

Another glance at Green. "So I've heard. He used to have a very... mm... Fancy room mate." One that she hadn't quite met yet. She chuckled a bit as she rubbed the back of Jock's head. "Hopefully you wouldn't get one so fancy."

[flamejock]

"I'm not afraid of a fancy roommate," he said. "Arcanines are the most majestic, regal pokemon ever. I could out-fancy anybody if I tried," Jock replied, not having any idea how he could do that, but knowing that he could.

"Blake and Bryony need me to make sure they're listening to you, mom," said Jock, doing is damnedest to be Number One Guy, as he dug his head into Blue's hand, still squatting totally naked on the floor next to his trainer.

"Mom, I'm cold."

There was a slight click of her tongue. He might have been trying to be Number One Guy, but the only one that had a chance of getting away with that kind of behavior under her nose was covered in scales.

But for the moment, the cold was a more important factor. Cold wasn't something a fire type was meant to be. "Ahhh.... Ah, right, here, um..." Blue moved to grab the blanket from her bed to drape around him.

"I don't think I have anything big enough for you to borrow..."

Her eyes trailed to Green.

They looked so hopeful.

Look deep into her hopeful eyes, Green.

[rivalappeared]

Green's eyes looked away from Blue's hopeful ones as he flicked the collar of his jacket.

"R-right, like this would even fit him."

[travelingbelle]

Those hopeful eyes were now rolling.

"Well, no, but... do you know anyone you could maybe ask? Or... No, I guess I could just run out quickly on my own. What size do you think he is...?"

[flamejock]

"I'm real big," said Jock helpfully from underneath his blanket. "Lots bigger than mom. I bet I'm way bigger'n Blake, too."

Jock, your ego isn't helping the adults figure out this situation.

"Mom, this blanket smells like you; it's really nice."

[rivalappeared]

Jock, knock it off with all the smelling and the ego, Green's feeling threatened.

"I can't help with the clothes, but jeez, I mean, I'll get some blankets from my room, if that's what you need. No big deal."

GRUMP.

Yeah. Yeah he was a lot bigger than Blake. Blue could already surmise that she'd actually have to venture into the men's section for this particular pup.

She brightened at Green's offer. "That would be sweet of you, if you could." And then down to Jock. "And then I can get you something so you don't have to live in a pile of blankets."

[flamejock]

"Yay!" said Jock happily. "But I like this blanket because it smells like you, mom. I like living in it. Will Green's blanket smell like Green, too? What are you going to get me, mom? My own blankets?" His eyes wibbled. "Can I get a new ball?"

[travelingbelle]

An billion questions. The future was bright and riddled with them.

"If you are very good, maybe you can get a new ball. And Green's blanket will probably smell like Green, yes." Except actually it would probably smell a lot like Green and a lot like flowers but that wasn't something Blue could say.

"I'm going to get you some clothes of your own, since people don't like other people walking around without them if you don't have a lot of fur. We're kind of silly like that."

[flamejock]

"I want stripes," said Jock. "I want my clothes to have stripes." Jock pointed to his tattoo-type markings on his arm. "If you cover them up, how will everybody know I'm an arcanine? Can I get that kind, mom? I need clothes with stripes. And a ball? I'll be super good. I'll be a really super good boy, mom. And can you get a brush and can you brush my hair? And can I have sawsbuck for dinner, mom?"

[rivalappeared]

"Calm down, motormouth," Green interrupted. "No chewing on the other students. You'll get your clothes."

[travelingbelle]

"Oh, hrm, is there a Sawsbuck at the school then...? No more Sawsbuck from around here, then, Jock. Them's the breaks. I'll see what I can do about the stripes, and of course there will be hair brushing. Don't even worry about that part. It's a date."

[flamejock]

"I love you," Jock said, throwing his arms around Blue's legs, his eyes wet around the edges with tears of joy, and his naked torso probably skeeving Green out with jealousy or sexual frustration or tattoo envy or memories of his old days rooming with a fuzzball of an arcanine or something.

[travelingbelle]

"I love you too," Blue readily replied with a smile, totally oblivious to any of the aforementioned afflictions that might have been plaguing her poor friend as she leaned down to smooch Jock on top of his head.
