[Oh look. It's a new student. Who came right after graduation. Oops. But she fiddles around with the webcam, curious about the technology. Her face shows a mixture of wonder and apprehension, hidden behind the facade of a cold stare.

She fiddles with the device more and it switches off. She decides to communicate in text.]

Hello. I'm a new student here, though it seems the school year just ended.

[Caroline... Aperture... It doesn't take long for Chell to make the connection, especially with that voice. Why. The hell. Did she end up at this school, of all places? The world hated her, didn't it? She was trapped inside a giant matrix, doomed to spend Hell with the people she hated the most.

But she didn't hate Caroline. Caroline was the one part of GLaDOS she had some sort of respect for, the part of GLaDOS who saved her from the depths of space.

But how did she know her? This Caroline was young and distinctly not robotic, and GLaDOS was already at this school with a very different personality. Were they separated?

She doesn't want any of this smarmy science talk, though. Asking about Aperture Labs, or whatever it was called... She was just as bad as Cave, probably. Her only redeeming factor was something she had forgotten.]

My first time visiting, I met you and there had been a small misunderstanding about something that's hardly even important now. If you don't recall, that's fine. I'm sure it wasn't important enough, or there was simply a kink in the timeline and you may be from a point in time from before your appearance here that I'm referring to.

I'm sorry for any confusion, I know you must already be confused by your new surroundings.
