You see, after you MEDDLING CHILDREN blew up my airship, I've had a lot of time to rethink my life's path, evaluate where I stand, and where I want my life and career to go.

[He stepped back, revealing waves of new Badniks behind him as the camera panned.]

That bird attack a few days ago turned out to be the PERFECT opportunity for me! After rounding up a few hundred of the pests, I was able to get right back to work manufacturing more robots! So despite all of your efforts, you HAVEN'T STOPPED ME IN THE LEAST! NYAH NYAH! OHOHOHO!!!

Robots and explosives sound good. Tails is who I usually team up with for tech stuff, and he does a pretty good job most of the time. Hopefully you got somethin' to beat what he uses.

Cyrus hadn't seen the fox in quite some time. "Is he still present here? If so, we must employ him as well."

He is, but I don't see him around, much.

"Hm. Very well. This place must be protected. It is sacred ground, home to the creator of the universe..." He paused. "Or it was."

....really? I don't see a lot of signs that something that important lived here.

"She existed here as a student. Even a god must continue to learn..."

"Really? Creator of the Universe had to learn about algebra and fixin' cars? Seems like kinda a stretch, guy. If they created everything, doesn't that mean they knew how it all worked?"

Cyrus shook his head. "A creator merely begins. An architect creates houses but does not know all that takes place within it."

Huh. Guess I never really figured on it like that.

"No matter. There was something that drew it here, and we house many mystic beings even now."

Woulda liked to meet someone like that. I could get a lot of questions answered, that way.

"Not nearly as many as you may wish." The usually stoic expression turned ever so slightly disappointed for a fraction of a second.

"Either way, all the more reason we must preserve the peace here."

"Sure. Fair enough."

"That said, do not hesitate to strike against him. Alert me to his moves and any insight you have on them."
