Hello everyone. For those of you who may not know me, my name is Chiyo and I'm a Vaporeon. I first arrived at Smash Academy two years back and spent, according to the time here, a year away on an unexpected break. If by chance you may be curious as to where I've been, I was away traveling through a few worlds before I was able to find a portal to return here. Speaking of which, portals can be rather complicated to understand and use, so please be careful when you see or plan to use one, okay?

That aside, I'll be in college this year! I'm greatly looking forward to studying, spending time in the library and greenhouse, swimming, and hanging out with friends again. Although I'm saddened to have discovered that several friends I knew have left, I still look forward to making new friends and hope we'll have a pleasant year together.

In the meantime, I'll be taking a walk around the school and will be looking to reunite with some friends. If you'd like to meet or text me, please feel free to do so. I'll have my phone with me and will answer any texts as soon as I'm able.

Again, it's nice to be back. I hope I didn't cause too much trouble when I disappeared. If I did, I'd like to make it up to you. Other than that, hope you have a great day!

WELL, seeing that post on the network was a definite mood raiser. Jon was thrilled to see that his little friend had returned.

She said she'd be out and around looking for old friends, so, he slipped on his fur coat, as it were, and decided to sniff her out. Which didn't take TOO long.

"Oi - welcome back, you."

Hopefully she remembered him. It sounded like she'd been on quite the adventure...

Without a doubt, Jon was at the top of her list of people see wanted to see. The sound of his voice... the sight of him before her... it had her breaking out in the widest smile anyone could have ever seen on her.

"Jon!" Her excitement and joy rang clear in his name. "I'm -"

There were just so many things she wanted to say, so many stories to share, but most of all...

"I've missed you so terribly much. I'm so glad to see you. Deeply, truly glad." She almost couldn't reiterate that enough. In fact, she also really wanted a hug. In spite of having hugged him several times before, she wasn't quite sure how he'd take it now after all the time that has passed. Slowly, she took a deep breath and tried not to be disheartened by the memories of when, how, and why she left the academy the last time she was here.

"I'm... sorry to have disappeared last year. And without a word too. Twice.... I hope you can forgive me."

Her smile had always had a way of waking up his. He smiled right back at her - a rare enough sight, when it came to the wolf man.

"You've no need to apologize. These things happen." he said, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "You were right in your post - portals and the like are tricky to deal with. It's just lovely to see you back at all. And it sounds as though you've had quite an interesting time of it, no less."

Of course he wanted to hear all about her adventure! But she had just arrived and he didn't want to be a pain by asking her a bunch of questions.

She smiled in relief and relaxed at his touch.

"Thank you... You've always been so kind and understanding of me, and I appreciate you greatly for that. You never fail to put me at ease."

She felt bashful for saying all that, but it was the truth and she wanted him to know that. Because even after all this time and all her meltdowns, he still remained a true friend to her. It was all she could ever ask for.

[Sonny was still just a little shy when it came to Chiyo - it was hard for him to think about that whole mess with Shadow Clone Red, and his own inability to keep the timid Vaporeon safe that day. But he WAS happy to see her return! Maybe just a little 'hello' would be OK and then if she didn't want to talk to him, she just wouldn't have to reply? That might be the most comfortable. But he would at least do a video!]

[Chiyo was shy towards him for the same reasons, but she wasn't going to bring it up. Not right now, at least, and not unless the topic naturally rose up itself. Other than that, she was also happy to Sonny.]

Sonny! Thank you for the welcome. Are you well? You look well, which is great to see. Still studying the ukelele? I bet you're a master at it now.

Thank you. I feel well and much happier now that I've returned. Not that life was all bad in the other worlds, but there just isn't quite a place like Smash Academy out there. I have a feeling that it tends to draw its residents back here at one point or another, like it did with me.

She tried not to pay great attention to it the last time he said it when they first saw each other. But now... now it made her feel like she could be a heroine in a story book. And she didn't think she deserved the title either. She only saw herself as a Pokemon in human form and not an actual proper lady.]

Um, yes, though I wouldn't quite phrase it in that way. Have you been able to finish all your work?

Last I checked I do believe we are destined to be roommates! Definitely a far cry from my old high school, but I'm liking what the academy has to offer. Just currently trying to wrap my head around the whole cute monsters being able to transform into humans bit.
