Hey, gang. You probably already saw Goombella's thing about her leavin'. Sorry to say, but I'm goin' too.

Her Professor is sending a team to an Archaeological dig out in some place called Skyrim. So, there's plenty of treasure for me to hunt. Also? Dragons keep attacking towns in the area we're going to be researching. Like... huge dragons. REALLY huge Dragons. So, I'm going to go and fight them! Y'know. Keep the villagers safe and stuff.

[If you think you can hear barely contained excitement in his voice, you aren't dreaming.]

Anyhow, I'm gonna be around campus fixing up my affairs and stuff, and also packing at the apartment getting ready to move. So... uh. Heh. I suck at goodbyes but there's a bunch'a folks I need to say 'em to.

Nah. They ain't. But I don't need them any more and I figured you could make use of 'em.

I'm actually leaving the school, and where I'm headed I can't use any of these things.

It's a place called Skyrim. It's kind of like medieval in terms of their technology and stuff. Goombella got invited there by her old Professor to work on an archaeological dig site. And I got invited along to keep the dig site safe and help the local villages and stuff with their dragon problem.

[Man, a portable electronics device recharger WOULD be pretty sweet.]

Maybe somethin' to charge my MP3 player? I don't wanna draw too much attention to our stuff because apparently there's a lot of bandits in that place. But somethin' small like my little music player that I can smuggle around in my armor might work.

I can work on something that would let you recharge an MP3 player through sunlight or by turning a simple crank or maybe one powered by potatoes.

You've always been a great friend to me. And you never fail to amaze me with the inventions you come up with - Stuff I could never even dream of, you make out of every day items and your imagination. I don't think anyone has ever made me say 'Wow' more times than you, guy.

[And the mouse gets a smile too. He was a good little guy. Best assistant.]

Either one works for me, buddy! I definitely wanna come back sometimes to check in and say Hi. I've been here for six years... it's gonna be hard to say goodbye to the place completely.

I imagine that it would be. When I came here, I was twelve. It's been a strange time, but fruitful nevertheless. I would say that I've become approximately 42% more effective at inventing since my arrival, and gotten to know an interesting selection of people, yourself included.

Heh... yeah. You've changed a little more than I have over the past six years. I was seventeen when I showed up and really socially awkward. This place was good for gettin' me past that. And I'm glad, because it's what let me make buddies like you.

You were socially awkward? That must have been before I arrived; you were always very friendly and cordial to me. In fact, approximately 95% more cordial than average.

I should be! There's plenty of discoveries to make there, and I'm going to be helping to keep folks safe from dragons.

....you don't have an invention that can help to keep dragons away from thatch roofed cottages, do you? That would look kind of old-timey and not freak out the medieval type folks in Skyrim?
