[Here's a guy who doesn't look at all comfortable at a computer. But he's managed to set himself up with a video post anyway. Because that might be better, should Ellie somehow come across it.]

Look, I never took the brown acid, OK? So I got no idea why a giant hand would tell me I'm teaching carpentry at this school. Wood shop. Whatever. Maybe I've finally gone nuts...

[A pause. Beard stroking pause. Glaring at the camera pause.]

Look, I gotta get back to where I'm from. Nice to see somewhere in the world hasn't been overrun by infected or hunters yet. Y'all have a nice set up here. But I need to find a way back to where I'm supposed to be. I got people relyin' on me, OK? Anyone can help me out with that, I'd be somewhat obliged.

....Ellie, you happen to see this, let me know. I'm in the teachers dorms.

Hair dye? ["Hair dye" seems to be a weird word to him, but then it seems like something clicks.]

Oh, I see what this is about. Look, if you think I'm coloring my hair using some kind of dye, I'm not. This is my natural hair color. Lots of people have blue hair. There's nothing strange about it.

....no shit? Your hair is naturally blue?

[Whaaaaaaat? Surely this kid is messing with him.]

That's.... not somethin' that happens in my world. Black, blonde, brown and red are about all you get. Varyin' shades inbetween 'em, I guess. But no blue.

Just those colors? Huh. So you've never seen people with green or orange hair? I can't think of a color I haven't seen on somebody's head.

Well, Orange, sure. That's a shade of red. Sorta.

But never green hair. Or purple or pink or anything like that.

[He was still half convinced Ike was messing with him.]

That explains why you think I have an odd hair color. I never realized that kind of detail could be so different in other places. This is definitely my natural hair color though. My mother had blue hair, and so do I.

Well. I guess if Blue Hair is the most different thing I got to look forward to seein' here, I should be OK.

That's a way of looking at it. It's not the strangest thing out there, I think. Even if I try to look at it as though I'd never seen blue hair before, it's not too hard to try getting used to.
