A former staff member of the academy, Miss GLaDOS, was found dead in Ferrothorn Park on Saturday, March 9th, at 1:13 AM. Signs of decay are imminent, suggesting that she has been there for some time. Her body has since been removed from the property and has been sent for autopsy.

There will be no further details given.

I'm going to repeat what I have been repeating hundreds of times. We must investigate anything related to the murder. That is all we can do. To make sure everyone is safe, the most I can recommend is standard precaution and avoiding the drugged lollipops.

[ He's getting tired of repeating that. ]

It's about that girl Vivian. What should we do about her?

The solution to that is simple.

[ Simple, yet perhaps a bit morbid and drastic. Oh well. ]

I want to wipe her into a clean slate with no memories of GLaDOS. That girl depends on GLaDOS to the point that her life is directionless and meaningless without her. It would ultimately be better for her to live anew without her influence.

But wiping her memories like that is so cruel! She's still a person after all. Can't she learn how to live on her own even without Miss GLaDOS? There has to be another way, right?

[Noel had no idea why this hit her so hard. Maybe because of her own issues with memory, but this just isn't right no matter what her personal experience with it was.]

As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't seem so. I will have to check on her current caretaker, but the last conversation I had with her was nothing but GLaDOS.

Think of it this way: Should her memories be wiped before she discovers her master's death, it will save her the pain of mourning.

But. It just seems like too much. Is that really the best we can do for her?

[Noel couldn't bring herself to be okay with Shadow's plan. She'd hoped that there was another option he could take, but.]

No doubt. A partial reworking of her memory may be possible, as well, but it would be difficult and not without repercussions. A clean slate would be for the best.

[ He doesn't even feel all that bad for her, really, if that's what he has to do. The removal of GLaDOS from her life and a fresh start is, in his opinion, something to celebrate rather than fear. ]
