U-Um so... Now that Halloween's coming up... I guess people are going to be doing... Halloween things... I-I hope nobody's going to do anything scary this time...

If anyone wants to see me on Halloween, I'm going to be hiding in my dorm room. I-I don't want anyone jumping out at me in the halls...

But even though it's probably going to be a scary month, the trees are still really pretty! You know, since they're all red and orange and... yeah...

Oh! By the way! I was planning on baking some fall-themed treats, so if anybody wants some, feel free to stop by the kitchen! J-Just make sure to leave some for everyone else, please... If that's okay with you...

This manner of celebration over nothing...I as well opt out of such things, although for a far different reason.

I dislike all holidays. They are worthless excuses to hold parties, which in turn waste resources.

"Fun" is a concept based on our want to distract ourselves from what is truly important.

Interesting. You believe that sadness is our default nature. Why do you believe that?

As great as it could be. An interesting concept. How do you believe greatness manifests in life?

You stated that if one is not happy, it indicates that things are not as great as they could be. Yet "greatness" is undefined.

Yet most set theirs shamefully low. Are they not meant for higher things? Perhaps not, the self-defeating mindset already ahold.

Perhaps. Yet that is their limitation.

One of them, anyway.

There is a difference between limitation and the educational process. To feel proud...how selfish!

It is self-centered, the very definition of selfishness.

And I do. Consider the nature of the self. It often takes some calamity to get us to view outside ourselves.
