[Once the recording begins, Chili waves. He appears to be sitting at a desk in his dorm room.]

Hey! I completely forgot about introductions on this network thing; this school's a busy place, I'll give it that! If we haven't already met, my name's Chili! I'm the blazing hot Fire-type gym leader of Striaton City, but I'm here because even I could learn a thing or two from a wacky school like this!

Now that that's out of the way, I have a question. [His expression becomes more serious. He motions to the paneled layout of the room, and to those circular doorways and whatnot. He doesn't appear pleased.] Is this get-up permanent? This interior design scheme, I mean! It looked fine before, why did it have to be changed in this way? Now it's just creepy. Who thought this was a good idea, anyway?! [He huffs.]

I just thought this would be the place to ask, since I have no clue who else to go to! I really hope it'll be changed back!

Whoa, an Arbok? [He brightens up.] That's awesome! It's a pleasure, Eli. I'm really excited to meet the Pokémon on campus, you have no idea!

[ Oh, a gym leader. Wonderful. She certainly loved those guys.

Striaton, though? She didn't get that far into Unova before she was swept here. She had heard of the gym leaders, however. ]

I think it's rather nice.

Nice?! Why would you think that? It's really bad!

It's uniform and pleasant on the eyes, at least. [ Granted, she did find the atmosphere sterile and cold. She knew over time she'd hate it as well, but for now, the change itself was interesting for a restless Eevee. ]

It looks like a stuffy laboratory, and... And it's just plain unnerving! Before we know it, we're all going to be stuck here and forced to become science experiments or something! [He crosses his arms.] That's what it reminds me of!

But, um, maybe it's some sort of trial run of a more modern design or something...

[Blink blink.] Whoa, haha, hi! I recognize you! This is a surprise, for sure! It's awesome to see you again!

Oh, right. But really! This gear they gave us- and the panels everywhere- and everything, it's all from a place I've been! I doubt you'd believe me, but it was really bad, and that's an understatement!

[Eheheuhu he recognized her! Blue's all smiles about that. BUT RIGHT. WEIRD DECOR. Her smile falls into a more thoughtful face.]

Mm, try me. I can't doubt this place's potential for weird shenanigans to happen! So you've been to a place like this before...? Probably not because you wanted to, huh?

[Chili shakes his head.] No way! In fact, I just woke up and found myself in a laboratory: it had panels just like this, and we had to use these guns and those boots they offered when we first got here. Cress and I found ourselves in that place just over a month ago, and it wasn't something I want to relive...! [haha get it]

[Chili lifts up the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device to demonstrate.] For example, I know all about this thing! I don't remember what it's supposed to be called, but I had to learn how to use it once. When we came back to the school and they had these portal guns available, I wanted nothing to do with them! Now that I've thought about it, I grabbed one. Just in case! So then, Blue, do you know what I'm talking about? Did you have to do anything like that?!

Hi Sophie! Hahehe, I guess it's nice that we're able to meet under more favorable circumstances finally! [Chili rubs the back of his neck.]

I agree, I'm sorry you had to see that. Those were all my memories.

Is that so? After all of that stuff happened, I heard everyone had to fight a monster or something! I wouldn't know, since I didn't get to fight it. Did you have to do that, too? I guess a lot of people were having memories, because I had to go through at least three people's memories just to finally wake up! ...That was a pretty terrible time.

How do you not know? [He tilts his head.]

[ aheh. this guy probably knows who n is, and if not... well. we'll see about that. ]

I should hope it is not permanent, but I have my doubts. I do not see these being changed any time soon.

[Sure he knows who N is! ...Only by name, not by face. Of course, that isn't to say some of the other gym leaders haven't described him. At this point, he seems oblivious. ...Mostly. He blinks at the appearance of N, but does not pursue this train of thought too heavily.]

You don't think so? [Frustration presents itself on his face.] I guess I'll have to talk to the headmasters about this! I don't know many people who really enjoy the remodeled appearance of this place, so why change it to this?! [He sighs.] I wonder if I'll ever get answers?

But hey! [He goes back to smiling.] What's this about not expecting us, huh?

[ Oh, thankfully, that is something he already plans on pursuing. He dawns a look of determination, leaning forth into the camera with a curt nod. ]

If enough people file their personal complaints, we may receive some cooperation then. Inaction will result in nothing. Our goal is absolute.

[ He then pauses, leaning back again and sinking into his desk chair, frowning softly. ]

About not expecting you...

I simply did not picture any of Unova's gym leaders straying away from their quarters.

[ Of course, there are gym leaders from other regions here, but he didn't really think he'd find any of Unova's here! Not to mention, ah-- it is admittedly pretty awkward, still. ]
