[ A new woman has appeared on your campus, Smash, and she looks less than thrilled about her situation. At first it was rather exciting, but now she's just narrowing her new human eyes at all you little snot balls and desiring nothing more than to leave. When she speaks, her face remains somewhat deadpan, but she is going to try to sound like she cares about what she's saying. Here we go. ]

I was told to introduce myself. [ That was probably not the greatest start. ] My name is Evve, and I would like to point out that I am an Eevee, not a human, but for the sake of convenience with language barriers, we're gonna roll with this. [ She leans back in her chair, sharp copper eyes rolling toward the ceiling. ] I'm apparently a new member of some team of authoritative figures, which means I have to make sure no one does anything stupid, which is basically like asking for the impossible, so, yeah. PFFT. Okay.

[ With a sharp, long exhale, she looks at the camera. ] Buuuut if we could just make this easier and everyone just sit in one spot for the rest of their time here at this academy, I would really appreciate the cooperation. Yeah? [ She nods. ] Yeeeeah.

[ ooc: Evve is pretty much going to stay in human form unless noted otherwise. I JUST LACK ICONS FOR NOW. okay, thanks. BYE. ]

[OH WOW. For a second, Blacky isn't sure what to say to that. Then she just gets the impulse to be as mean as she possibly can. Whether or not this is the result of red pops or just Blacky's normal spiteful self is unclear.]

You don't seem the type who'd have the friendship necessary for a happiness evolution, so you don't have to worry about that. And I teach psychology if you actually wanted an answer.

You're right. I don't have the prerequisites for that type of evolution and I prefer to keep it that way. [ Cue a little smirk. ]

And of course I wanted an answer. I wouldn't ask otherwise.

Are you a psychologist, too? You seem a bit easily high-strung for that.

[A little defensive, there. And Evve's smug little attitude isn't doing much to help. As much as Blacky would love to just tear into her and look for something that is a weak spot... She's realizing that maybe she is being a little ridiculous.

Probably. I mean, if my psychologist was a ghost, I wouldn't feel very confident about my future.

My only comfort is knowing I no longer need to worry about whether or not death is a slow and painful process.

I didn't exactly get their license plate number, so I don't know who I should be holding it against.

[But considering the other things that went on around that time - deaths in the family, tension between the humans and non-humans at the school and beatings in the night... Being bitter toward humanity at large for everything that happened that winter seems good.]

It sounds a little like you've got your own reasons to be less than fond of humans. --Ah, not that I mean to pry or anything.

The humans have treated me quite well, actually. I've lead a life that was enriched with good fortune thus far.

[Like she believes that! A happy Eevee would have evolved by now. Or at least not dismiss humans as being careless and disrespectful as a whole.]
