Guys, you will NOT believe what happened to me! I don't know if anyone noticed, but I've been gone for MONTHS! MONTHS! And guess where I was all this time?

Jail. That's right. I went to jail. It turns out I never repaid the debt I racked up on my credit card since the first time I saved Angel Land and bought stuff off the black market, and the debt collectors who I didn't even know were hounding me finally nabbed me after all these years. Three decades and high interest rates did me in so bad... There were so many zeroes tacked onto that amount that I couldn't count them! Wonderful, incredible, amazing, benevolent, wise and all-the-other-good-adjectives-I-can't-think-of-right-now Lady Palutena was gracious enough to bail me out, but I'm still not a free angel yet. The debt's not completely repaid, so I have to keep shelling hearts out until I'm in the clear. That said, uhh... Does anyone know how I can get that kind of cash fast enough?

Auuugh! And now my credit score is in the pits, too! I'll never be able to buy a house, or a car, or a high-def flat-screen TV even if I wanted to! I might as well resign myself to a life of eternal bumhood...

Uh. Long story short, I'm back. I didn't miss too much, did I?

How many dollars every month are your payments? maybe you could get a job, too! Maybe with my Boss, Bowser? Or with Max! He's a General, so, you'd be a soldier! Or maybe something at the school - could you teach something?

Between that and a bake sale, you should have at least SOMETHING close to what you need, right?

I feel you kid, I've been in your shoes before. Well, not exactly in the dept type of shoes mind you, but I've had to pay off a number of, uh, speeding tickets. I mean, it's practically the same thing because you're still owing money to an authority figure.

[What are you talking about Mona. Being in debt and accumulating speeding tickets are NOT one and the same. But you can give her props for knowing both ways will eventually send you straight to jail if you don't pay them off. Luckily, Mona hasn't done jail time. Yet.]

Take it from me, the easiest thing to do is find yourself a part-time job or two, and you'll be paying off your problems in no time. No sweat!

You're right! There's gotta be tons of part-time jobs out there for someone like me! But I don't know where to begin to look. There's so much out there, both in the city and at the school. Do I just... go door-to-door and beg for them to hire me? Hmm...

Come on, Pit. You should know better than to trust those shady merchants and their credit card deals! But no, you just haaaaad to go and get a health potion. Or was it a hammer. Map, maybe? Whatever it is that they sell. Pyrrhon wasn't exactly around during Medusa's first invasion, and their inventory's changed a lot since then! It's mostly just a lot of weapons now, which is a business strategy that Pyrrhon can get behind!

Speaking of, since replaying old levels is obviously out of the question, maybe you could try grinding up some of your older weapons? Pyrrhon takes you for the type that starts hording them like crazy.

I already downsized my weapon collection, but even that didn't come close to repaying it. You got me, though! I never realized I was such a weapon-klepto until I took a good, long look at my stash. It's kind of a good thing I gave myself an intervention. I had so many junk weapons that were just begging to be churned into hearts! There's a lot less variety, but now I'm stuck with just a few really strong ones. And maaaaaybe a few I just couldn't bear to part with...
