[ When Vivian loads the video up, there's a smile that hasn't aged a day. The rest of her, however, is definitely older. Much older. And when she speaks, it's clear time has been kind to her speech development. ]

It's been so long! But I haven't forgotten any of you. Hmmm. I wonder who's still here? [ She hesitates. ] Doctor? ... Taka? Are you still here?

Which dorm are you in? I could bring you some candy! And also the most recent season of Friendship Ponies on DVD because that released while you were away!

No ponies? Well, you could borrow them some other time if you want! I lent them to your Dad a little while back! I don't know if he enjoyed them.

[He probably did. He just probably didn't learn the Lessons of Friendship inherent in stories about magical ponyta creatures of rainbow hue.]

I'll be right over with a whole bunch of candy! Do you have any favorites? Or should I just bring a big mix of different ones so you could try them? I guess if you haven't had any in fifteen years, you might not remember which ones you like the best, huh?

[ honestly, at this point in her life, it wouldn't come as a surprise if one didn't enjoy the best TV show in the world. She couldn't bring herself to watch it anymore, but the reasons, well... ]

I'd love to try everything! I didn't eat much back at the Lab.

[ Oh no! Okay, uhm, she had to get ready. Were boys allowed in the girls dorm now? She remembered Taka made a little bit of a fuss about it a few times.

Her roommate was absent for now and her side of the room looked as if she had never come home. ]

... Is there anything to prepare? [ Oh, now she was just uncertain. ]

[If anything needed preparing, hopefully it was done by the time Sonny knocked on her door.

He did this with one hand. His other arm was occupied with a basket containing candies of many and varied kinds, some muffins, some cans of spam, a pineapple and some boxes of raisins.]

[ There was a small wail, almost electronic sounding in memory of her old voice, and after a few slaps of bare feet against the floor, the door flew open with one quick swing.

Oh! He wasn't as big as she remembered. ]

Hello, friend! [ Her eyes went between him and the basket. Okay, no ponies looked immediately present. She couldn't deal with that right now. ] Uhm, please come in, Sonny!

[ She moved out of the way and looked at her side of the room. It looked so uniform and sad, but it was efficient, she thought. It reminded her of the bed at the Labs. ] I don't have much to share. I'm sorry.

I missed you, too. [ One of very, very few. ] It's been approximately 14 years, Sonny. [ She looked toward her barren side of the room. She seemed ready to say more, but melancholy took hold and rendered her silent without her full awareness of it. ]

Well! That just means we have a decade and a half's worth of catching up and hanging out to do!

So, I bought you a bunch of candy, like I said, and some other stuff as well. I know Probably your Dad will be able to help you with anything you need but just let me know if there's anything else you want, OK? Like anything in specific you missed while you were away.
