No, something else is goin' down here, and I don't know what yet. But between the earthquakes, the water rising and the monsters like that one, it's something big."

And it's starting to bother him. Not the threat of catastrophe, he's fixed worse states than this, but the fact that there's no quick and easy reason behind it. There's no Bad Guy to go after, no nexus of evil to dispel, nothing! None that he can see, anyway.

"...I get the feeling we're going to find out soon, whatever it is."

"So it's not just the lumbering mountain-monster, hmm? That's troubling."

She thought for a moment. In any other situation, she would just bolt, but she WAS trying to give this whole going-straight thing another go, so... Well, maybe the danger looming wasn't so much foreboding as it was a prelude to great adventure. If she was going to throw herself back into the world-saving business, better to do it with capable heroes like Sonic and Knuckles.

She grinned and crossed her arms. "Then we'll be ready to kick its ass. Won't we, Hero of Mobius?"
