SUPER BACKDATED HOSPITAL ACTION:
Back in ye olden days of late September, Vianca got completely wrecked. The pikmin was carted off to the hospital to have her checklist of injuries taken care of. Concussion, bone fractures, internal bleeding, some unexpected respiratory problems, an alarming amount of black and blue. THE WORKS. WHAT A GOOD TIME.

If you would like to backdate a hospital visit you are more than welcome to do so. She was there for an indeterminate amount of time before hobbling back to the Academy to try and fix the library.

[MEANWHILE IN THE MORE OR LESS PRESENT she was actually making a video post, which happened practically never. It was, however, still too cumbersome to type very well, and she had a number of things to bring up. None of which were her extended absence, which she didn't expect anyone to actually notice.]

Hello... I'd like to apologize for the disarray in the library. We are working to put it back in order as quickly as we can.

[Because it got wrecked. Wheatley has been doing the best he can, but he was Wheatley. Things were going about as well as anyone could expect.]

In order to speed this process, I would like to ask if there is anyone currently present that is skilled with robotics? My assistant's robotic chassis was... unfortunately incapacitated. It would be greatly appreciated if we could ask for your assistance in repairing it.

[She looks about as uncomfortable as someone who only linefaces could. The little girl looked down at her desk for a few moments and then she picked up a piece of paper with a crude drawing of a flower on it, holding it up to fill the whole frame.]

... I am also... searching for this flower, if anyone has seen one. There used to be a small patch of them in the forest, but that part of the forest no longer exists. I do not know where else to look... They are somewhat large, and come in different colors. I would be very grateful if anyone could point me to where they have seen one. It is... very important.

Ah, only if it isn't a bother. I would not want to take time from other things.

It will depend on which ones are damaged enough to be replaced... Many were brought from other times and places by students and teachers that may lost.

[Beyond Wheatley, every additional visitor that appeared was more and more surprising to Vianca. She more than certainly did not expect Watt in her doorway. A kind girl, Vianca knew. She'd only ever been very nice in the few times they spoke, and she got along so well with Ai.]

[Which wasn't Garry's intent at the very slightest. Backpedaling a little, only to think up how to say this and say it appropriately.]

Of course you should, you should never hide what concerns you.

And in the same way, I feel as if you don't deserve to get any flack for what happened, is all.

In fact, let me help clean. I'm in the library often so I could certainly help get the place back in order. I'm no good at robotics, but I could do that much for you and your assistant.

[She couldn't tell if that was a question that made him sad. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to apologize if it had. Was not knowing if you were lonely actually a good thing? Vianca was inclined to say that was true. It would make some things easier.]

[Zero, likewise, wasn't sure how to reassure her. He'd never been particularly good at that kind of thing. Loneliness wasn't something that troubled him, necessarily, even if it was something that maybe should have. There was an emptiness there, but he'd simply become so accustomed to having it.

He tilted his head just slightly, and gave a small shrug.]

[He enters the room and sets his awkward presents on her bedside table, but he doesn't sit down without her permission. It doesn't exactly feel right, and he isn't sure how long she'll want him around, anyway.]

Oh. That's a little more trouble than I thought it would be. I mean, back in my world, we'd just send some kids down to the local Barnes and Noble to pick stuff out. Should've figured it would be more complex, here.

[He watched her with intent, undoubtedly curious, but not enough so to vocalise it just yet. He still didn't understand entirely what she wanted with them. They would be of some use to a 'Pikmin.' He knew, at the very least, that she was a Pikmin, though if he tried to claim he knew what that was, it'd be a plain and outright falsehood.

[He wanted to prod a little harder on the topic. But he didn't want to risk sticking his nose where it didn't belong. She'd been nice to him and he didn't want to be a pest in return - that was no way to show gratitude, after all. Plus, it might be nothing for people to look a little banged up at a fighting school. Mountains out of molehills, maybe?]

Two feet wide, huh? That's a nicely sized flower. And if they prefer dark places, that makes my job a lot easier. Not many flowers grow in the dark. They must be strong plants.

[Wheatley uncurls himself from his tiny sleeping ball, stretching out all over the chair and seemingly uncaring that he's still in nothing but a hospital gown. He blinks and rubs his eyes, and it's only after he wipes his mouth that he looks over at her.]

[Helping, of course, is Alorah's favourite pastime. Unfortunately, she's really not much use when it comes to advanced robotics, but flowers...? She's all about flowers. That's part and parcel of being one.]

It's... a little late in the year for flowers, maybe, but I'm sure I could help you find that one! Could you tell me a little more about it, if you don't mind?

I was not sure if they were year-round or not... So I assumed this was my last chance.

They are quite large. The ones I would need would be about two feet wide or so. They come in different colors with yellow tips... I have only encountered them in shady places, but a journal says they grow underground as well...

I am not sure what else would be helpful.

[Two feet... that's definitely big enough to spot fairly easily. Being in shady places -- or even underground -- might make it hard to spot from the skies, but no problem! Jumplepuffs are excellent finders.]

Last chance...? I'm sure you'd be able to spot them in the springtime if we can't find any now. But don't worry! If it's that large, then I'm sure we can find it. Would you mind if I asked around where it used to grow?

Ah... yes. Possibly in spring...

[While that was probably too late to benefit the white pikmin, it would be a wonderful discovery for the rest of her sisters, so that was still a good thing.]

The last place I was aware of was in the part of the forest that was damaged recently... It is my hope that they may be elsewhere nearby, but I have not ventured there in quite some time.

It would be very appreciated. He has a chassis that is essentially bipedal body. A leg was torn off and it suffered some forceful blows. I am not sure how much is actually broken.

Oh, hm... well, I'm sure that it must grow in other places! Or maybe there are some near the area that survived.

If you wanted, maybe we could search together? I can fly, so I can cover a lot of ground.

... I could do that. I should put effort into the search as well.

[Sure she felt guilty that she'd be putting a hold on getting the library back in order, but she could hardly expect people to go out of their way for her if she was not willing to help look herself. Of course, the idea of going on her own was less than ideal, which was mostly why she hadn't...

Besides, if there were actually any underground, there was a good chance that she'd be able to find them.]

I'm sure it'll take no time at all if there are two pairs of eyes looking. And if not, maybe we'll have some luck with the school greenhouse or somewhere in town.

[Though it's likely Vianca'd already have checked the most obvious places, Alorah's still chomping at the bit to be as helpful as she can. Wouldn't it be nice if all it took was a trip to a flower shop in town?]

There used to be one in the greenhouse... Unfortunately, they wither once they've been used.

[And it was too bad that respawn logic was not in effect because this entry would be super boring otherwise I mean Vianca held her tongue about what she thought of the chances of them being in town were. There was no reason to shut the idea down when Alorah had meant it helpfully.]

[Solution: use pokegen to hack Vianca into another colour video game logic triumphs again Alorah thought for a moment -- Vianca probably had full hands with the library situation, but too late or too early would make it too dark to search well.]

Why don't we try looking around after breakfast-time? There should be enough daylight to get some good searching in before classes.
