I really love October! Can you believe that some places have sale priced pumpkin pies already!? I bought a whole bunch if anyone wants one! You might want to speak up quickly, though - I can't guarantee they will last very long!

So, anyway, Halloween is this month too. I know it's kind of early to be thinking about it, but does anyone already know what they're going to dress up as? I'm not sure, yet. Maybe a Ninja Squirtle guy.

1) Now that his hand is mostly healed, Sonny can be found sitting around outside near whatever piles of leaves are the biggest, practicing his Ukulele skills. Feel free to interrupt him, listen in, or jam with him if you have an instrument handy!

2) Autumn is the start of Baking Season. Sonny can be found in the student kitchens most days making things with cinnamon and nutmeg and pumpkin spice and chocolate and ham. Want a bite?

3) Other than that he's being a good guy and going to all his classes and taking orders from his awesome boss Bowser and doing all those other Sonny Moe things. So, wandering the halls, wandering between classes, wandering around the grounds, in the cafeteria, in the weight room, in the everyplace.]

I skipped out too. Well, I mean, I went to the Carnival thing? But.... uhh... Hmm... it was no fun. So. I came home and went to bed early.

[By that he means he met a cannibalistic ghost who wanted to eat him then ate herself and he threw up everywhere and ran home to clean up and hide under his covers like a gigantic baby.]

Carnival thing? Can't say Ah heard 'bout it.

But anyways, yeah, Ah'd like that. And Ah guess Ah'll start thinkin' 'bout whut Ah'm gunna do this time 'round. Thanks Sonny!

It was.... OK. Mostly.

I mean, it was where I got hired for my job! So that was great!

And there were lots of corndogs and funnel cakes and candy apples and mustard packets!

Everything else was.... uh. There were ghosts there.

Doesn't sound like it was that bad.

Though ghost? Like Ghost types or ghosts ghosts?

[Yeah that didn't even make sense coming out of her.]

[He shivered and looked EXTREMELY uncomfortable.]

I talked with one. It wasn't.... Don't ever try to talk to a ghost, OK?

Oh wow, Ah ain't thinkin' Ah've evah seen a ghost ghost. [She said looking thoughtful. After a bit though, she just shrugged.]

Ah'll keep that in mind. Though Ah'm pretty sure not all a them are the same.

I've met two and they were both horrible! The one I met in the hall stabbed me! PLUS the one I met at the carnival? When she was alive, she was a murderer and a cannibal...

[He shuddered and swallowed heavily in that way people do when they're furiously trying not to lose their sizeable lunch all down the front of their shirt. Or worse, onto the keyboard of their laptop.]

[Riwane just smiled.] There's still a whole buncha things we mite not know hon. Ah mean, lookit us, Pokemon Ah mean. Not all of em are tha same and even in tha same species we git em' nasties, or nice ones. Variety's tha spice a life they say. [She smiled encouragingly at him and winked.] Ah'm sure you'll be fine. An' if any a them critters come aftah you, jus' call me, Ah'll come an' help ya out.

....are you sure? Because I really will call you!

[He held up his cellphone. He'd do it, too!]

[Riwane chuckled] Of course silly, why would Ah tell ya sumthin' Ah didn't mean?

....maybe you're trying to be reassuring so that I'll feel better but really you're thinking that probably I either won't run into a ghost ever again and you won't need to worry about it, OR that if I did run into a ghost probably I wouldn't want to bother you so wouldn't call? Because I really wouldn't want to be a bother. So I probably wouldn't call unless it was REALLY bad? But if it was really bad then definitely I would call.

Uh whut? Yer losing me here Sonny. Ah jus' think yer overthinkin' things. Why would Ah leave mah buddy hangin' if they called? Now that would jus' be downrite rude unless somethin' really did come up an' impeded me from makin' it ovah.

[He shuddered.]

Just thinking about it makes my brain run in five different directions at once.

Then don't worry 'bout it none hon! Worry 'bout it when it's there, if you don't, ya won't have time to enjoy the moment.

[She smiled.]

[He shuddered again. He could hardly help it, after all. His run ins with Madotsuki's dream self and Conchita, the cannibalistic ghost who had tried very hard and in earnest to eat him alive tended to pop up in his mind at the least opportune moments.]
