[A video post pops up on the network with a cellphone-y aspect ratio. The girl in charge of the camera has it way too close to her face before she pulls it back and starts talking at about a mile a minute.]

Heyyyy, it works! Good, I'm totally starving. Uh... I guess my info's still good cuz I got wi-fi, no problemo, but s'that really the date? I coulda sworn it was last year, like, 5 minutes ago. I was on a plane to Kalos and I walked outta the bathroom and now I'm here? Howzzat work, anyway? I mean, like, I'm stoked to be back and stuff but I tried FOREVER to get back last year'n I couldn't! It was the pits, and...

And I'm stuck. In a... I think it's a closet? Lotsa brooms. I dunno how I even got here but the door won't open and man, I was like 10 minutes away from my in-flight meal. I could eat, like... Somethin' that eats a lot. I hope I don't gotta sleep in here. I tried bustin' the door open but I don't wanna trash it cuz that's gotta be a detention or somethin'. Someone's gotta have a key. Right? ...Right?

So you're, like, a scientist? Rad!

You're a Pokemon trainer!? I know all about those!

[She only knows what a snorlax has told her, actually.]

Yep, I am! I specialize in forensics.

[for_truth]

Whoa, really!? You come from a place with Pokemon, or didja find out about 'em here?

...I have no idea what forensics are but they sound like science.

I learned about them here! One of my friends is a Snorlax.

[But this girl doesn't know what forensics is? How could she not!]

It's the science of crime investigation! It's how you find clues about criminals, so you can bring them to justice.

[for_truth]

Oh, so... Is it like those shows on TV where they pull fingerprints off something and then they put 'em on a computer and then the computer finds the bad guy? 'Cuz the stuff like that's really cool!

[atmyage]

That isn't how it works! The detective has to find the bad guy.

[Duh.]

But otherwise, yeah, that's basically it!

Oh, gotcha! My bad. The computer just, like... Tells you who it is, right? Either way, anything that helps catch criminals sounds radical to me!

[atmyage]

...No, the computer doesn't do anything. [She's just going to insist on this! Only good, old-fashioned forensics does the job.]

But thanks! I enjoy doing it... um, even if I've only helped catch one criminal. [Such career very experience.]

Really? Guess they do it different on TV...

But hey, one criminal's a start! Here's hoping you help catch a lot more.

I intend to! The more criminals are brought to justice, the safer the world is, after all. [And a safe world is what she wants.]

Yeah! I totally feel the same way.

So did you bring any Pokemon with you? [Trainers are supposed to have them, right?]

'Course I did! Six of 'em, even! Wouldn't be much of a Pokemon trainer if I didn't have 'least one with me, right?

[atmyage]

Whoa, six!? That's so many!

[for_truth]

Yeah! I caught more, but you're only allowed t'have six of 'em on ya at a time. You can, like, keep 'em in their Poke Balls a lot of the time if you want 'cuz some of 'em can get pretty big.

[atmyage]

...There are rules? Like that you can only keep six at a time?

[No one's mentioned that kind of stuff to her.]

Hecka rules. There's a test before you get your Trainer license!

[atmyage]

[She nods sagely.] Well, all the most important things have tests to earn them! I'll have to take a test to be a scientific investigator, too, but I'm not too worried about it.
