[Action]/[Text]
Mac hadn't heard any WVBA news for a while. Which is weird, it's been a few months. Not even rematch rounds? What was going on?
Then on this evening was when Mac got a phone call.
Doc called about. Interviews. Mac was actually told to go on the morning news in New York. In front of some million odd people. Talking on the news. Nnnnnooo, Mac didn't want to do that. Nope. No. So many people watching him TALK and not...BOX like a BOXER.
"It's just an interview, Mac baby. Your matches are on TV anyway. Just think of it like that. Except you ain't boxing. It's not a big deal. They just wanna talk to you. About basic things like your career."
...And when Doc said that...well. Uh.
Hn.
Hey does anyone know a way to get real good at public speakin'? Or makin' speeches? Real fast?
Like, seriously. I think I need 'em stat.

Nnnnot exactly, it's a bit bigger than a classroom kinda thing.
[Kinda.]

Which part do you need help with? Thinking up what to say?
no subject
Eeeeeeeeh, I'm basically gonna be asked about my career and stuff from what I know.
I just have a huge thing about doin' all that public speakin'...in general.

[Sob, he's so happy so many people here GET IT. THANK YOU LYRA HALLEJUAGSDM.]
That's probably what I'm gonna be asked unless if they wanna go personal.

Well, there you go! Once you get started talking about boxing, I bet you'll relax in no time flat.
...Hey, did they give you a list of questions ahead of time or anything? Some people do that, so you can practice ahead of time and make sure they don't ask anything you don't know, or whatever.

I ain't such a TV kinda guy, Lyra. Guess I'm really spooked into this thing and wanna be prepared for it.

Ooh! If you want, we can do a practice interview! My Pokegear's got a camera function, so I could have Rui film us and everything! It'll let you rehearse, and when you do the real thing, you can just think of us and maybe that'll help the jitters!

[SO MUCH EXPERT HELP THIS IS GREAT.]

...Just gimme a second to dress up like a sports interview guy. Gotta be as authentic as possible, right?
no subject
Whoa, you really got a costume for that?
Well you dressed up as Giovanni some time ago...
[That was still funny.]

A mastery of disguise is an important thing to have, Mac! You never know when you're gonna need to infiltrate something. ...Plus, I really like dress-up.
no subject
And then you'd have the power to infiltrate a sports station.
no subject
Hey, it might come in handy! Maybe I'll sneak in while you're being interviewed, using my cunning flawless disguise.
no subject
[Obviously something that starts a whole new fashion trend.]
Pfff, really? I hope you don't plan any surprise attacks on nobody, haha!

Keep an eye out! If anyone tries to trip you up during your interview, BAM! I'm on it. I'm like a tigress.
no subject
Pffffff, I'm imaginin' the headlines for that.
