Hey guys. Two things.

First thing! Whoever put up all those Anti-Eggman fliers in town? You are awesome. I'm not even kidding - Whoever you are? I'ma buy you lunch. You are a friend to every sane person in this city and I salute you.

Second Thing! I'm lookin' to take some folks to my Island next weekend for a couple days. Most years I invite some friends over there and we have a little get together and folks run around and go nuts in all the different places my Island has to go nuts in. I'm gonna make the invite a little more open this year - If a weekend on an Island sounds like somethin' you wanna do and you can promise not to leave the place in a mess or be a jerk? Drop me a line and let me know.

O-Ohmigosh-- A tropical island? You own an island? I thought people were lucky to be able to go to the beach at all, but to own an island...!

I can't say I'm not a bit jealous!

Yup - It's been in the family for generations. Funny thing is, it used to fly through the sky, and the beaches didn't have any water at all. But I parked it in the ocean a ways off shore, so now it really is like a tropical island.

You can come along and check it out, if you want. Don't think I'vce seen you around before, though? You new?

It was flying? How did you do that? You parked it in the ocean? Does that mean you can control the island like a car?

Um-! I don't know if I'll be able to go, though. I don't want to leave my work... Oh, and my name is Isabelle! [ She smiles, but it's a little bittersweet. Totally jealous. ] I am the school's general secretary. It's nice to meet you, mister-...?

It's a long story, and there's some limited control over it.

Really? I mean, it's gonna be on a weekend AND it's still technically summer, so, no classes or whatever. How much work can you even HAVE at a time like that?

Well, I wouldn't mind hearing it! It must be a riveting tale. [ Her tail wiggles behind her, but it slowly grinds to a halt. ]

Work-wise, um... I guess you're right, but I really would like to be here just in case... but an island sounds so nice right now...!

[ What a dilemma! She hums thoughtfully. ]

I should think about it. I think it would be really nice! It's been a long time since I've had a vacation, now that I think about it.

Hi there, Knuckles, here's another feed from Isabelle not too soon after the previous one. ]

I've decided! I... am going to come along! Oh, but I will have to work extra hard to make sure everything is duly taken care of while I'm gone... but I just can't resist!

You can also tell me all about the island when I get there, if you'd like. My ears are open.

Alright! Sure thing - Ittle be good to show someone new around the place. I'm sure you'll enjoy it just fine. And I'm sure you'll be able to get done whatever it is you need to do, too - Like I said, it's a weekend, and it's summer time. I'm sure there can't be anything TOO major goin' on in the admin block.

Hopefully not...! But you might already know that things can spring up at any time here. The academy is really spontaneous, huh? That could be a problem waiting to happen...

I think I'll be alright, though! I'm very excited! Would it be too bold to ask if I could bring some seashells home? [ They're some of her favorite little things. So pretty and cute. <3 ]

Tell you what - so long as you're not in one of the caves or some of the deeper ruins, you can still get cellphone reception. If you need to, you can always call the staff here to check and see if anything major's goin' on, and being as we're gonna be travellin' there by warp ring? I can set it up to send you back if anything really crazy goes down and you really need to get back. Sound good?

And sure! I'm more'n happy for folks to take souvenirs - so long as they aren't botherin' the wildlife it's all good.

I didn't even think of that! Wow, I'm doing really good today, huh? I mean, duh, Isabelle. [ She gives a most awkward smile. At least she has a solution, so there's that, no matter how embarrassing that just was. ]

Anyway, I'll do just that, and I'll make sure to find some of the prettiest seashells for everyone, okay?
