If you're like Char, you've probably noticed some flyers around school advertising the upcoming poolparty. If you're like Char, you're probably super allergic to water and apparently not afraid to get grumpy about that. Odds are, you're not like Char. Here he is, thoroughly deadpan:]

So. Pool party this weekend, apparently. Can't fuckin' wait.

Seems like an awful lot of the shindigs around here involve water, huh? Ain't as bad as a school trip to a hot spring, but I'm still lookin' forward to the day we take a field trip to an active volcano or two.

So Char's visiting the RA dorms today. He's here hoping to find Green and maybe ask him a thing or two, but if he runs into another RA while he's there (hi Bulba hi), then he's certainly not gonna complain.]

I'm astounded and canceling our cruise reservations before it is too late.

If you're just going for a quick visit, I think you'd be able to get away with starting in Lilicove or Slateport and just sticking to the mainland.

Bet all the water parts are bullshit anyway.

Gotta say, the pokeregions are nice, but next time the wanderlust hits, I think I'd aim for someplace there ain't no Pokemon. Be nice not to have to worry about hidin' how dragon I am.

["It's just weird right now" is a pretty solid hint towards "let's not discuss this in detail," but it's not like those names aren't relevant to Char's interests. Especially Green's -- trouble with Red doesn't seem too surprising, but Green?]

Weird in that things are different than what they should be... Something's going on with Red. I know you don't really care but... if you see something that strikes you as weird, let me know? ... Weirder than what you'd usually think, I mean.

Like there's much room for him to sink any lower. At this point I'd consider actually givin' a shit to be weird for him.

[She shook her head slightly.] Let's not discuss it. [And there was a look that said 'not here.']

[Green too? His brows furrow a little -- that's a bit more serious of a response than he thought he'd be getting. He'll leave it be, if this isn't something they should be gossipping on the network about, but he's not completely forgetting it if she's legit uneasy about it.]

He ain't the only one you mentioned, though. I expect problems outta Red, but Green...?

[Whatever. He's done wasting breath on His Favourite Guy Ever. He sighs out a thin little hint of smoke, but leaves it rest, because obviously this is all only about Red being a distant asshole and not about Secret Boyfriends or Secret Beatings.]

Anyway, don't stay nowhere outta guilt. Stay 'cause you're happy here or go somewhere 'cause you wanna go somewhere. The boss is in good hands, I promise.

It's different when they both mean a lot to you. That's all. Being on one side is a lot different than being in the middle.

[She waved her hand a bit.] Guilt isn't strong enough to keep me in one place anyway. I just need to find some answers, and going anywhere just takes me farther from them. I'll sort them out, and then I can put all these Kalos plans in motion.

It'll be great. And excellent. I'm going to camp everywhere.

Hear there's been a whole lot of hype about Kalos back home. You're pickin' a real good time to go, from the sound of it. Better hope them answers don't keep you stuck here for too long, hey?
