If you're like Char, you've probably noticed some flyers around school advertising the upcoming poolparty. If you're like Char, you're probably super allergic to water and apparently not afraid to get grumpy about that. Odds are, you're not like Char. Here he is, thoroughly deadpan:]

So. Pool party this weekend, apparently. Can't fuckin' wait.

Seems like an awful lot of the shindigs around here involve water, huh? Ain't as bad as a school trip to a hot spring, but I'm still lookin' forward to the day we take a field trip to an active volcano or two.

If you ever find yourself in Kanto, there's always Cinnabar volcano. Hell, I'm pretty sure this city's got one somewhere within flyin' distance. Sounds like a much better time than goin' swimmin' to me, anyway.

Well we might have been looking for a stand-in for some things... Lava and I aren't very compatible, unfortunately. I'm sure you can imagine.

Ah, there's that trademark Biomech fun-suckin' I know and love. Water dragons sound lame as hell. I'm bettin' it gives me sweet laser powers and also the ability to summon sandwiches whenever I want 'em, instead.

Thought we'd already established by now that I'm the best at what I do. That includes baskin' in lava and eatin' cookies.

[She chuckled, but it tapered off softly. Harmless as it was, it probably wasn't the best idea to play flirt with him at the moment.]

Though... even if we don't end up going, it'd still be a nice place for all of you guys to visit someday. The town at the base of the mountain is kind of quiet, but it has a nice spring for everyone else to have a chance to soak in. Taking turns at both of them worked pretty well.

We've already hit up Sinnoh and Unova. I wouldn't argue if the boss wanted to check another region off the list.

Gotta admit, though, I've got my reservations about a region that's s'posed to be, like, half ocean routes. It might shock you to hear this, considerin' how water-savvy I am and all, but I get real seasick.

I'm astounded and canceling our cruise reservations before it is too late.

If you're just going for a quick visit, I think you'd be able to get away with starting in Lilicove or Slateport and just sticking to the mainland.
