Half the people in the school were unidentifiable, and another half of that didn't want to come out of hiding. However, over the week he'd managed a personal headcount of everyone he knew.]

[Well, almost everyone. A certain blonde princess with a penchant for pink and patisserie-grade sweets seemed to be missing... Did she have something to do with this?]

Ah... good evening. I hope those of you stricken with this transformation malady have paid a visit to the clinic on campus at least once. Also I hope you're adjusting, or at least not TOO uncomfortable with your new form, while we figure out a way to reverse it.

On that subject, has anyone seen the new cooking teacher? It seems she hasn't been around at all since that bake sale. I've asked around, but people haven't seen her. Also those of you who were running the sale: was she there with you at all during the day?

"...Fraternal Order of Fungal Brotherhood?" [As whacked-out as that sounds it does absolve her from any participation in the bake sale, but--] Who would have taken her?

[He asks this, but the look of realization comes over him almost immediately afterwards. He'd spoken to her at length about it already...]

This letter is false. It was part of a ruse to throw us off the captor's trail. This was well planned.

[Connor said as he gestured toward the letter when Gordon took it.]

I overheard some figures in the woods, they mentioned a "King Bowser".

And that is not all, the animals on campus. That was all his doing. He poisoned everyone who went to that bake sale.
