HAPPY EXPLOSION DAY, GORGEOUS [audio/text]

[backdated just a smidgeon!]

Lots of weird things things going on around here lately, and this place is chock full of weird. Humans runnin' around acting like a bunch of wild animals. If I had a television crew and a nature documentary? You would all probably be dead by now and hung up on the mantle.

[Rick that's not how that works...]

You know what else it is today? National set-off-your-fireworks-and-take-a-big-bite-outta-freedom-day; a holiday so great it deserves a lot of adjectives and other word parts smashed together to describe it. Like, it's explosionriffic.

...Explosionriffic? Explosiotastic? Explosiona--

Explositomic.

Check this out, this day is so great you just got to see it to believe it--so this friendly reminder is coming to you in two parts. Hear my voice and read along [yes, explosion gifs and all]:

[Suddenly on your screen if you still have opposable thumbs and a care to access it, that is...]

HAPPY EXPLOSION DAY

[WHAT IS EVEN HALF OF THIS...

Eirika seriously can't tell if Rick is poking fun or what he's doing in general. So she stares blankly for many moments, trying to figure out what to address first.]

Should we really be trying to celebrate anything while this mishap with transformations and spells is occurring?

Rick, this sounds a little in poor taste.

[But she thinks on it. She is the one who told Connor that prom was okay to celebrate. People sometimes needed something to make them smile.]

I mean, I suppose I can understand. Although I still find it a little odd to celebrate... explosions.

Freedom...

[She sits on that word for a good deal of time.]

I can support that. Freedom is a wonderful thing that people deserve to hold. Within reason.

...I don't know what any of that is that you speak of. Are those places in the land you come from?

I did see them before. I had wondered if they were a part of Eggman's martial law.

Wh--it's absolutely a word! You're the one without the grasp on the English language, just making things up willy-nilly. Honestly.

Snog, British origin. Verb, snogs, snogging, snogged. To kiss and cuddle. As a noun, the act of kissing and cuddling.

Looked that up in the dictionary just now. Definitely exists. Unlike explositomic, whatever that's supposed to be.

Because sometimes, you need a better word than just those.

A real word, not one of your stupid made-up ones.
