[Empirically, he knows it's possible for a few of these people to be from a world in an era previous to his. But proof like this was so damned unlikely that he's going to have to come to terms with it now.]

If we are talking of the same man, he had signed partaken in a declaration in Philadelphia. I was there with Samuel Adams...and John Hancock I believe his name was; he was also there.

...Huh. Amazing. I think you'll be happy to know that that same declaration was still on display two hundred and thirty years later in my world.

[He won't go into it any more than that because, to be honest, he isn't sure if Connor's future is exactly like Gordon's past.]
