[action] arrival of super high school level good luck (bad luck?)
[ Good morning, Smash Academy! Today you might see a half shoeless young boy frantically running down the hallways after...a small and quick blur that looks suspiciously like a black cat. Yup, that's right. He will never get a cool entrance. Ever. He'll be doing his best to not run into anyone, but he can't say the same for the pursued, who's running every which way in order to avoid getting caught. Apparently he or she has really taken a liking to that shoe! Or just wants the boy to play tag. Who knows? He sure doesn't.
Maybe, just maybe though, he'll catch up to the cat and get his missing shoe back mostly intact. Or he can just give up on—hahaha, no, he won't. After all, he doesn't exactly have a spare available to use instead!
So what will you do? Help a dude in distress out? Laugh at him? Set traps for fun? ...Help the cat instead? Your choice! Either way, he can be found running about anywhere around the school while the looooooong chase is still on. Occasionally, you might hear him pleading for the cat to "Please give it back already!"
...Sorry beforehand for the ruckus? ]

[
IT'S LIKE HE'S REALLY AT THE FINAL TRIAL...]Just what was this incident and how did it affect the world?!
html is my worst enemy
[ He thinks Kirigiri would know best what happened there, but until they restore their memories, he has no way of knowing for sure if his guess is right or not. ]
Basically, it got so bad outside that the headmaster, seeing us as hope for the future, wanted to keep us in the school for our own protection. And we agreed out of own free will.

But that's strange... Before he came to Smash Academy, nothing seemed out of the ordinary with the world. Then again, he also thought everything at Hope's Peak had been nothing more than a bad dream. Now that it was proven to be real... what did that mean...?
He can't shake this sinking feeling. Something that big doesn't just happen overnight.]
...Just how long were we in there?
no subject
[ Yeah, he actually has to stop to think about what Ishimaru's asking. How long were they in Monobear's screwed up version of Hope's Peak? Not that long, probably. Maybe a few days to a week or so depending on how long it took for Enoshima to hijack the school and erase their memories. But that might not be what Ishimaru's asking... Better revise his answer to include other information then. ]
If you're asking how long we've been attending Hope's Peak...... Well, we've been classmates for a couple of years now. That incident only happened later on, so we had a peaceful school life until then.
[ Oh, Naegi, if only you remembered the events of Zero... ]

[...How old is he, then!? What grade is he in?! Should he be graduating this year!? What happened during that time he doesn't even remember, besides this Despair-Inducing Event?!
The Event itself... There's no way that something like that could have happened and he wouldn't have even heard about it here. Naegi has to be wrong. He's only usually right about things, but everyone's got margin for error, and isn't that such a beautiful thing?]
What about the incident itself? How long ago did that happen?
no subject
I don't know the exact date since I still haven't recovered my memories, but sometime during what was supposed to be our last year at Hope's Peak? It can't be much earlier than that since everything should have been fine during our first two years at least.

More importantly...]
That's-! That's such a long time to have just forgotten...!
[He can't help but think of a certain DVD. In that time, his parents could have been... He doesn't even want to consider the possibility. Suddenly he turns toward the door, worry crossing his face.]
I have to make a phone call!
no subject
[ There's a pause as he lets that sink in. ]
O-oh, um, right, you're busy with school and stuff, aren't you? Sorry about barging in and talking your ear off.
no subject
[It must be for Ishimaru to say something like that.]
Naegi-kun. Thank you for telling me this. I still have so much I want to ask you about later, but right now...!
[Right now he needs to make sure. He opens the door, all set to leave before he remembers that there is probably one more thing he should ask.]
There is one final question. [He'd still rather not ask, but if he doesn't find out it will haunt him.] Did I... kill anybody?
no subject
[ Definitely must be something important then. Which is fine with Naegi. They both needs time to process what they just learned anyway. But before that... ]
...No, you didn't kill anyone.
[ Which, by process of elimination, means...well, he'd rather not say it out loud. ]

He just gives a relieved nod and off he goes without another word. Time to figure this all out and go make some calls and have a private freakout over the fact that no connection to home can be made.]
