Out of curiosity... is there anyone here who, at some point, couldn't return to their own world? Or can't now? [He scrubs at his beard thoughtfully.] By accident or by design, it doesn't matter. And if you can now, how did you manage it?

[He knows he's not exactly being subtle here. But he's at his wit's end. He's having trouble even crunching the numbers to find the coordinates for his world and time, let alone finding a way to build a portal array back there. As much as he hates to admit it... he needs help.]

Yes, in fact. It was a fluke that I even came here in the first place. The wrong cluster of particles hit the wrong part of an energy forcefield, and the next thing I know I'm here.

I've been trying lately to work up a system to find the lagrangian coordinates of my own world and build a solid dimensional relay point. A portal, in other words. But God only knows if it's going to ever work at this point.

I don't know much about portal's, but I've got an airship. Can fly just about anywhere people ask me to go, the sky just leads the way.

Anywhere except where I came from. Wonder how she'd react to my trying to take you home.
