[The screen blips on and a person with green hair shows up. He waves at the screen before giving a smile.]

Greetings, Smash Academy. I am a new student who just arrived at this school. My name is Cilan, nice to meet you. You may... um... know my brothers, Chili and Cress. I hope they have not been, err, a problem!

[He gives a pause, wondering if there were anything else to say.]

Ah! I come from Striaton City in Unova Region...! Some of you, um, may know where it is. There used to be a cafe there! It's, um, closed for the moment, since all three of us are, you know, here at this place...

[He trails off again.]

Um, I hope to enjoy learning things with, err, everyone else!

Well, I cannot say I have had any issues with them so far. They have been very kind and forgiving. [ even Chili, which is saying a lot, especially when N did so much. it kind of negated his initial angry reaction. ]

Anyway, yes, I am aware that you are no longer gym leaders. [ he nods curtly. ] However, Smash Academy takes people from many different timelines. I was not sure if you'd come from the past, present, or future.

[ it seemed like the present, but just to be sure... ]

From different timelines? That's quite, how do I put this... [Trailing off to think for a bit.] a little difficult to keep track of. I hope my brothers are from the, um, same time as me as well...

I will be honest, I am still a little weary of you because of, um, of your... background. I'll do my best to get past the, err, bias I had.

[Then he gives another pause, as if to consider something.]

If I may, I would, um, like to request a match sometime, err, at your... convenience.

I do hope so. It would make everything significantly less confusing and tedious. Now...

[ His eyes drop. He's not exactly surprised that people are still wary of him. He started off with a pretty... rocky relationship with humanity in general, so there's no doubt that it will take time to rebuild something positive. ]

I understand if you are uncomfortable with me. However, I would like to try. [ He gives a bit of an uneasy smile. ]

I will ask my Pokemon when a convenient time would be for them. It is up to them to decide.

[Cilan watches the other's reaction. Yes, he definitely feels better now that he's met the actual N in person. He gives a reassuring smile in response.]

I think, um, you are doing a great job already. I can't wait to talk to you more.

[He blinks a bit at the last part before giving a laugh. He was a bit surprised to hear that kind of response, yes, but the laugh wasn't a ridicule kind.]

Yes, of course! Even if it's not a match, I'd like to, um, meet your Pokemon in person.

You absolutely could. Would that mean I can meet your Pokemon, as well? I would be delighted to make more new friends.

[ Never enough Pokemon to be friends with. Never, ever enough. ]

Of course! I'm sure Pansage and Lillipup would love to, um, make friends as well!

[He smiles brightly.]

I suppose any weekend would do, given the stadium is unattended for schooling purposes during that time. [ as... far as he knows... ]

Yes, that sounds, um, like a very good idea! Err... Sunday may be a better day for me, I think.

Perfect. Sunday it is, then. I will mark my calendar! In the meantime, I can make Pokeblocks for all of us.

Sounds good! Perhaps I can, um, make some sweets as well? Something to... you know, snack on while the Pokemon have their snacks too.
