[The screen blips on and a person with green hair shows up. He waves at the screen before giving a smile.]

Greetings, Smash Academy. I am a new student who just arrived at this school. My name is Cilan, nice to meet you. You may... um... know my brothers, Chili and Cress. I hope they have not been, err, a problem!

[He gives a pause, wondering if there were anything else to say.]

Ah! I come from Striaton City in Unova Region...! Some of you, um, may know where it is. There used to be a cafe there! It's, um, closed for the moment, since all three of us are, you know, here at this place...

[He trails off again.]

Um, I hope to enjoy learning things with, err, everyone else!

Cilan? Greetings. I have met your brothers. So far, they have not been any trouble. I quite enjoy them. [ even though Chili's, uh... kind of hot-headed, he's realized, but it's nothing he can't handle. ]

My name is N, and I am an aspiring Pokemon Professor. You may recognize my name, actually...

[ he trails off, wanting to say more, but the words didn't come. instead, he just smiles knowingly. why, yes, he is that N. ]

I know Chili and Cress.

I had a problem with one of your brothers. He's a terrible fire trainer and a terrible trainer and is dumb and doesn't know anything about fire types that matters and thinks he can beat up my mom WHICH HE CAN'T and I don't like him. He said he wasn't all bark and no bite like I was and so I showed him that HE was the one who was all bark and no bite.

You need to tell him to shut his stupid mouth about how great he is, because he isn't.

Ah, hello N... Yes, I, um, have heard about you.

[Cilan isn't sure how to exactly go about this...but he sounds pleasant to talk to, at least at this point... He gives a small smile in response, though.]

You are, um, different from what I've heard. I'm glad to meet you in person.

[Oh hello. That is a fairly short message! Direct, though, and Cilan didn't mind that. He gives a smile in response.]

Hello, miss! I do hope they are, um, being nice to you.

[Cilan frowns at what he hears. Chili, Chili... Dear brother, what in the world are you doing?

Yes, he may have facepalmed right then.]

I'm so... sorry that my brother Chili has been causing trouble. He, err, really doesn't mean bad when he, um, talks... He is more, how should I say this, understanding, when it comes to Pokemon. Usually, we brothers are, um, together so... we don't have these, um, kind of misunderstandings.

[He gives a small, weary smile, trying to reassure this person.]

I will let him know of your, um, disappointment. Will you, err, give him a second chance in the future, if it's alright with you?

[ ah, a much more acceptable reaction than what Chili gave him, that's for sure. he beams, innocent eyes gleaming against the close computer light. (damn, boy, be careful or that'll start to hurt.) ]

I certainly am. Needless to say... I would like to make acquaintances with you. I no longer have qualms with gym leaders as a whole.

[ although some subjects did still need tweaking. that is, ensuring pokemon are fine with the position, removing them from their poke balls, giving them more freedom in the gym and beyond, etc. etc. ]

[That's because Chili is...Well Chili. Cilan can't say no to those innocent eyes though.]

I will be happy to do so... err, to my best efforts. My brothers, I think, are less kind than I am but, um, I think they would grow to, err like you as well.

Ah, sorry to say but, um, my brothers and I... how should I say this, we resigned our, um, positions as gym leaders. Right now, all three of us are trainers to, um, train and become stronger.

[Lady Purple just smiled at you Sir Green. Talk of Sir Red and Sir Blue make her happy.]

They are very nice to me. Chili had helped me a lot in the past too.

[HEY A NICE THING ABOUT CHILI.]

Well, I cannot say I have had any issues with them so far. They have been very kind and forgiving. [ even Chili, which is saying a lot, especially when N did so much. it kind of negated his initial angry reaction. ]

Anyway, yes, I am aware that you are no longer gym leaders. [ he nods curtly. ] However, Smash Academy takes people from many different timelines. I was not sure if you'd come from the past, present, or future.

[ it seemed like the present, but just to be sure... ]

Whatever, I'm not going to beat him up again if I see him. Unless he runs his mouth at me again about how he's better than my mom. Because he isn't. My mom's way stronger than he is. We beat you guys easy. We beat the one with the blue hair. I helped.

[Here is a cheerfully waving lady. MAYBE YOU REMEMBER HER but maybe not.]

Ahh, hello Cilan! How are you?

[Here her smile falters for a moment.]

Uh. There may have been a... slight... erm. Incident. With Chili. Ha... ha..

[Before Cress replies, the first thing he does is watch the video, of course. And when the first thing he saw was his brother- someone he wasn't expecting- pop up on the screen, he let loose a rather undignified squeak. Joy flooded him and he was hardly caring much for the details of what Cilan was saying- he would much rather watch him talk and listen to his voice because it was a sight he missed sorely.

When that was done, Cress initiated his own video chat. He looks very much surprised and the excitement he is only barely able to contain is threatening to burst out from within.]

Cilan! I wasn't aware you had come all this way to join us.

[oh no i'm gonna be in trouble now]

::I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP::

[Cilan makes a slightly confused look. This person keeps on going "mom" and "beat up"...]

Do you...err... happen to be a Pokemon?

[He did hear stories about humanized Pokemon, but he hasn't seen an actual one before, so he's pretty surprised, yes.]

[WHOA SURPRISE!!!! But Cilan sure is happy to hear that.]

Chili is, err, a lot like a fire type and, um, gets a little heated up sometimes. But that's good to hear! I hope they will, um, keep being kind to you.

[so. disappoint.]

Ah, hello Cress!

[He gives a smile...and then when he hears the second part, a surprised look was seen before a confused look took over.]

Ah, I did consider, um, making a call through the... Xtranceiver, but... [He trails off with an embarrassed laugh.] You know how I am with timing sometimes...

I'm Blue's arcanine. ::He seems highly proud of this statement::

[And you are correct indeed.]

From different timelines? That's quite, how do I put this... [Trailing off to think for a bit.] a little difficult to keep track of. I hope my brothers are from the, um, same time as me as well...

[Well, that's something he'll have to worry about later... He goes back to the other topic.]

I will be honest, I am still a little weary of you because of, um, of your... background. I'll do my best to get past the, err, bias I had.

[Then he gives another pause, as if to consider something.]

If I may, I would, um, like to request a match sometime, err, at your... convenience.

His hair looks like it's on fire.

That makes sense then.

[Cress smiles warmly. Yes, he knows very well how you are with timing.]

It feels so sudden, your arrival. Not that I'm complaining. You're already aware of how much I miss you, and so... if it's possible, Cress would like to come see you right away.
