SUPER BACKDATED HOSPITAL ACTION:
Back in ye olden days of late September, Vianca got completely wrecked. The pikmin was carted off to the hospital to have her checklist of injuries taken care of. Concussion, bone fractures, internal bleeding, some unexpected respiratory problems, an alarming amount of black and blue. THE WORKS. WHAT A GOOD TIME.

If you would like to backdate a hospital visit you are more than welcome to do so. She was there for an indeterminate amount of time before hobbling back to the Academy to try and fix the library.

[MEANWHILE IN THE MORE OR LESS PRESENT she was actually making a video post, which happened practically never. It was, however, still too cumbersome to type very well, and she had a number of things to bring up. None of which were her extended absence, which she didn't expect anyone to actually notice.]

Hello... I'd like to apologize for the disarray in the library. We are working to put it back in order as quickly as we can.

[Because it got wrecked. Wheatley has been doing the best he can, but he was Wheatley. Things were going about as well as anyone could expect.]

In order to speed this process, I would like to ask if there is anyone currently present that is skilled with robotics? My assistant's robotic chassis was... unfortunately incapacitated. It would be greatly appreciated if we could ask for your assistance in repairing it.

[She looks about as uncomfortable as someone who only linefaces could. The little girl looked down at her desk for a few moments and then she picked up a piece of paper with a crude drawing of a flower on it, holding it up to fill the whole frame.]

... I am also... searching for this flower, if anyone has seen one. There used to be a small patch of them in the forest, but that part of the forest no longer exists. I do not know where else to look... They are somewhat large, and come in different colors. I would be very grateful if anyone could point me to where they have seen one. It is... very important.

[Soryk knows next to nothing about robotics. Engineering, a little. Robotics, no way, no how. So he doesn't bother to offer up any assistance.

But the flower she makes mention of does capture his interest. He doesn't know the official names of all of the flora that Smash and FDC has to offer, but he knows quite a few of them, and said books at said library in current disarray have been a great help.

His eyebrows knit together and he leans forward onto his desk with some consideration.]

Hm. A shame to hear of your assistant. I am unable to lend a hand there, however, the flower may be more possible. You said it is important to locate one. What are you using it for?

[Because whatever she's intending for one is probably better than what he would be.]

Ah, I would be using it for... myself.

[For reasons she did not seem particularly keen on disclosing as she glanced away from his considering gaze.]

Their working properties are linked with Pikmin, but since none of these are native they are... somewhat rare. The only information written about them are in a journal, and it does not provide much detail on them.

[She's as softspoken as ever. But it's never really bothered him. In fact, next to nothing disrupts him where Vianca is concerned. Probably because he sees some of himself in her.]

I see. I was unaware. I have some that I took for studying their properties. If you would like them, I would be willing to give them.

HOSPITALS TIME

[So here's pretty much what happened after Team Library got #rekt: Zero called an ambulance, the ambulance came, the paramedics wouldn't let Wheatley ride in it because he was naked, Wheatley pitched a fit and was gifted one (1) hospital gown, which he remained in for quite some time, as he rode to the hospital and fretted outside her door.

And then he fell asleep in the chair next to her bed. In a hospital gown. It is not until the next morning that he even regains consciousness. He is cramped and uncomfortable in the chair and his mouth is sticky.]

Oh, man. Wh--

[Here he is, looking around.]

[Vianca had been similarly conked out for quite a while, though most of it was due to the amount of pain killers she currently had going on her system. They had cleaned her up and bandaged what could be bandaged, splinting what needed splinting and slinging her arm. The internal bleeding, luckily, had only been serious enough to warrant observation probably thanks to the robot's valiant shielding efforts.

For now, the thing she needed most was rest. So she did, fading in and out of sleep and mumbling Wheatley's name.

Here in the morning, she was somewhat awake and staring over at her human robot friend as he drooled in his hospital gown. Wow.]

... I think so.

[A concerned Garry appeared, and he was visibly upset. He heard about what happened, or bits and pieces of it. He was trying his best to not smother her with concern, but he couldn't help it for the most part. Her library partner was also hurt badly.

What was going on with this school again?]

I...only heard a little bit about what happened. Don't apologize for it, dear.

[Vianca frowns just slightly.]

Those are my responsibilities, and I have not attended to them. Why would I not apologize?

[It was the day after the incident that Zero made an appearance at the hospital.

While it was probably true that he couldn't possibly have done more than he did, as a security guard he had failed in his duty to protect those who needed it most. She was in that bed was because he was unable to respond in time, and that was reason enough for him to feel responsible.

He walked in as quietly as he could as not to disturb her, but his boots still made a dull metallic sound against the floor with each footstep.]

[Clunky clanky robot sounds were not the easiest to ignore, especially when they had come to be associated with the sentiment of, 'I need help doing a thing.' Only lightly sleeping, Vianca worked her eyes open to search for the sound, expecting to see Wheatley shuffling around a corner to ask her where certain books went or his other robot friend pantomiming that he was done with things.

Except this was a hospital, not the library. That wasn't Wheatley, or the robot friend she had not seen in forever, but the security robot from yesterday. Huh.

He probably did not need assistance.]

[Vianca lightly bit the inside of her lip and lifted the drawing with her good hand again so that Knuckles could see it.]

Ah, thank you... If you do find one, I'd appreciate just being told where it is. It needs to be living to work.

[Joel knew well enough about the Library. Heck, he had sort of ruined some of it himself. And he'd been so heated up over Blood Falcon, he hadn't even thought to repair anything.

That was what happened when you spent 20 some years hurting people, being hurt by people, and breaking things. You forgot to clean up your messes, sometimes.

He realized with no small amount of annoyance that he felt sort of ashamed about this.]

I got no robotics experience. But I'm a carpenter. Teach woodshop. I can put some of the shelves back together. Plaster up the bullet holes and busted drywall. That kind've thing.

[It's okay, Joel, she had no idea you helped blow things up. Of course she HAD wondered about what else had happened, because there certainly hadn't been any gunshot damage before she had been incapacitated. Her poor shelves. Her poor books.]

[Ai was Watt's best friend, and since Ai was Vianca's sister, that also meant that Vianca was Watt's friend, too. At least, that's what her logic led up to. Even then, who on earth would attack the poor librarian? She was quiet and frail and she wouldn't even hurt a fly! A part of Watt really wanted to find whoever did this to her and give them a shock like no tomorrow.

However, Watt's first priority was to see if Vianca was doing okay. She was super concerned about her. She thought about bringing the poor Pikmin some flowers at first, but opted against it because sometimes Pikmin were flowers...? Sometimes? She didn't really know all of the ins and outs about Pikmin. So, she opted to bring her a box of candy instead.

Watt first peered inside the room to see if Vianca was sleeping, and then quietly made her way in.]

Hey, Vianca...um, how are you feeling?

[Beyond Wheatley, every additional visitor that appeared was more and more surprising to Vianca. She more than certainly did not expect Watt in her doorway. A kind girl, Vianca knew. She'd only ever been very nice in the few times they spoke, and she got along so well with Ai.]

I destroyed one of the computers. I'm sorry.

[Then again, Blood Falcon was aiming to break it over his head, so it wasn't like it wasn't gonna get broke anyway. It was still Pulse's fault that it got completely disintegrated, though, thanks to his counterattack.]

Is there something I can do to help clean up the library?

[Oh right... One time he had come in to ask about a shelving position. He's not certain what became of that.]

I know my way around robots! I might be able to help your friend, if you want. What kind of damage have they got?

It would be very appreciated. He has a chassis that is essentially bipedal body. A leg was torn off and it suffered some forceful blows. I am not sure how much is actually broken.

[Helping, of course, is Alorah's favourite pastime. Unfortunately, she's really not much use when it comes to advanced robotics, but flowers...? She's all about flowers. That's part and parcel of being one.]

It's... a little late in the year for flowers, maybe, but I'm sure I could help you find that one! Could you tell me a little more about it, if you don't mind?

I was not sure if they were year-round or not... So I assumed this was my last chance.

They are quite large. The ones I would need would be about two feet wide or so. They come in different colors with yellow tips... I have only encountered them in shady places, but a journal says they grow underground as well...

I am not sure what else would be helpful.

[As a frequent visitor to the library, he feels super bad that he wasn't present studying when everything got trashed. Maybe he could have done something to stop it, maybe. It's bad enough that there was such destruction of school property, but the librarian sure was gone for a worryingly long while... Who the hell would hurt a little girl?

I don't know very much about robotics, but a friend of mine may be able to help! Have you asked Chihiro Fujisaki? [Software, robotic parts, IT'S ALL THE SAME, RIGHT...]

[At this point, Vianca was resigned to the fact that people (somewhat surprisingly) were so keen on helping with reorganizing. Admittedly she felt somewhat better about Kiyotaka's offer to do so, since such a frequent visitor might have had a better grasp on how things were preferred to be.

She was also 1000% certain it was just easier to say yes.]
