[For a second, Marie looks as if he may legitimately gag.]

[He sighs. Perhaps best to leave that for another day, this on going feud between Marie and Bulba.]

Have you seen Sasha or Vinnie as of late?

[punchwaves]

Yeah, I saw Sasha on Friday. Vinnie... [He shrugs.] We've been texting.

[What do these questions have to do with each other...? Red truly is a mystery.]

Red takes a deep breath, wondering where to start on this mess.]

Sasha got really hurt by someone because of those robots. I don't need to go into the details but nobody does that to my Charizard and gets away with it.

[punchwaves]

[Whoa, hold the phone. Someone hurt Sasha?

Marie's pathetic frown immediately shifts to something very serious. He's a little upset that Sasha didn't mention this to him, but he'd feel bad about that later. Right now, all he cared about was standing up for his sister.]

We're going to talk with Max. That's what we're going to do. All of us.

[punchwaves]

[Max. As if Marie didn't dislike him enough already.]

Okay... [A pause.] ... Is Sasha okay?

I hope so.

[He lets out a big sigh, which seems to leave him more tired than he was earlier. The drama never ended, it seemed.]

[That wasn't the sort of sigh any Pokemon liked to hear from their trainer. Marie stepped closer to him and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.]

I'm sorry... We'll make this okay.

[He hoped, anyway. Any more upsetting Red, and Marie's heart may just shatter.]
