So, in my time here, I've been doing a lot to increase my physical strength and fighting abilities. I realized just how far I had left to go to achieve my full potential! And now, I found a great new way to work out that will help me get way, way stronger. It's not only about lifting ridiculously heavy stuff but you have to do it FAST. And you get to run and do a bunch of other stuff too, all in the same training session and it's all timed. Sound hard? It is! And it's great!

It's called Crossfit.

Why aren't more people doing this? How come I'm only hearin' about it now? Feel like I'm behind the times, here.

Dunno why he wouldn't be happy with it. He likes being strong and that's what this is all about.

So, it works kind of like this - you pick some exercises from one of the regular kinds of things you might normally do. Calisthenics or weight lifting or track or whatever. You set yourself up a number of reps for each one. Then you do them one after the other as quick as you can for a set amount of time. So, like, maybe fifty curls, one hundred jumping jacks, seventy reps of however much it is you like to bench, and twenty backflips. That's what you do over and over and over again for as many times as you can in like a half hour.

It's hard but really fun!

Aw, come on! I'm not going to get injured - It's not like I'm a guy who's easy to hurt, you know. I fight building sized mechs to save the world when I have to, so, what's a fitness regime gonna do to me?

Huh. I kinda figured he'd like it. He likes lifting and stuff. This is just a way more efficient way to do it. You can fit a whole day's worth of lifting into a couple hours. It's incredible! AND you get to mix that up with some cardio.

I'm not talkin' about gears, here. I'm talking about doing whatever it is you can manage to do with your feet and fists. Gears are great but YOU need a few tips on how to be speedy and tough without one.

Look, I know you're super strong an' you can benchpress a building on a good day, but I've gotten chewed out enough by Max t'know that not having proper form can wreck anyone. You focus on just goin' fast, and your technique's gonna deteriorate. That's from what I've seen anyway.

...Plus, they tend t'be cocky in that macho way that clashes with Max's quadruple dosage of testosterone.

I don't know. Just the name makes it sound a bit too, uh... comprehensive, for him. Call it an oblique hunch.

[Actually it's not even that oblique. Taking weights and making them AEROBIC would be heresy for the man.]

It does sound intense. Sounds a little like triathlon training, now that I think about it.
