[Jon is looking rough. Really rough. Over the weekend there was a Super Moon, and he'd been away longer than normal, letting his inner beast run free in the mountains away from civilization. These episodes are always draining, physically and mentally.

...and then he comes back to all your crap, Smash Academy. Why oh why did he become a member of Staff, again?]

Look... between attacks by weird creatures from god knows where, purple rifts in the sky, and people apparently arriving from multiple, alternate, backwards or inside out timelines? Is there anyone who needs the help of your friendly local Martial Arts instructor?

What?! She wasn't expecting company before going out, though she was getting ready and due to her very low lack of shame she opened the door in her towel, still dripping from the shower.

"Hullo?" she sang out.

"Hey, Luv. Just me." Jon said, stepping through. He assumed her roomie wasn't around if she was walking around looking so lovely in just her towel.

"I guess you've a little preparation to go before we're ready to leave." he said, smirking.

Her roommate being around was cause for her to not run around naked or semi naked? This was news to her Jon!

"Only a little bit! Ah should be done rite quick." She closed the door and dropped the towel, mossying over to where her clothes were set out.

"I'll happily wait." Jon replied, not minding her state of undress in the slightest.

"There's a few other films playing, if you'd sooner see something else? And what were you thinking for dinner?"

"Dunno, it's yer idea." she said a bit muffled as she put on a shirt after her undergarments where in place.

"Whutever fancies yer boat. Ah'm cool with jus' about anything. Jus' gotta have acshun in it one way or another."

"Action works for me." he replied. "The film I mentioned ought to have some. It's about a world where Aipom have taken over and Humanity is a group of refugees, trying to find their way."

The premise appealed to him on many levels.

"And I've an open palate this evening, Luv. I'm happy to eat anything, so long as it comes in quantity and with a few lagers."

Riwane pulled and shimmied into her custom pants, making sure they were secure. Having a large, thick tail was kind of inconvenient at times when it came to clothing! Still, she didn't seem to mind one bit and once the jeans were on, she moved over to brush out her hair real quick-like.

"Aimpon huh? Silly little fellers," she replied with a light chuckle. "Sounds like a plan there hon. As fur food Ah guess Ah'm in the mood fur some hearty meats." When was she not.

"These Aipom are dual wielding Seedot using Bullet Seed while riding enraged Rapidash." Jon replied. He'd seen the trailer. "It looks amazing."

How surprised was Jon that Riwane wanted to eat meat on a scale of 1 - 10?

Like, -5.

"Sounds good, Darling. We'll stop in to that one barbecue place you're fond of. They do a good pork sandwich and chips. Fries."

...he'd... never get used to calling them fries.

Riwane snorted and laughed at the description. "Sounds like sumthin' rite outta the funnies on the sunday newspaper."

But she could dig it, sounded like she wouldn't be bored for sure.

"Yay!" she jumped for joy while walking and almost bumped into something in her excitement before smiling and nodding at Jon. "Okay, Ah'm as ready as Ah'll evah be!"

"Alright, then. Look out world, here we come."

He stood up and opened the door for her.

She stepped right through, grabbing her bag and usual matching headphones.

"Hehe, you say it like we're headin' off ta train an' kick sum butt!"

"As I said, there are bad monsters about." Jon replied with a nod. "It may well be that we have to fight a few of them. They're small - nothing to work up a sweat over. But they're there."

"Psh, Ah ain't even worried 'bout em'." Riwane grinned confidently.

"Ain't anythin' 'bout to ruin our nite out. Ya bet yer behind!"

"Oh, no doubt Luv. No doubt. I was just reminding you."

He slipped an arm through hers and kept walking towards the gates.

"Oh, there's one over there." he said, pointing to a yellow eyed Primid, crouching under someone's window. "Would you care to do the honors? Or shall I?"

Ladies first, after all!

A ball of ember shot almost as soon as he spotted it for her, hitting the mark dead center. She was good at this, all too good.

"Hehe, Ah know, still! Our focus today will be fun. Ah'm sure we'll have enuff time ta go exterminatin'!"

"And since when is fighting not fun? Granted, these small-fry are hardly a challenge for the likes of us."

He was kidding, nonetheless. As they walked down the mountainside, he stopped looking for more to pop off.

"Strange thing. With all this going on, trips via train to my home world are cancelled. Checked for a friend whether there were services running to her world... Trains to mine no longer run."

"Really? That's weird..." Riwane walked besides, seemingly giving this more thought than she probably should.

"Did they explain why or? Are these lil' critters really that bigu'va problem?"

"Just said services are cancelled to my area. Not sure if that goes for Kanto as well. Couldn't get a straight answer, but perhaps we ought to look into it on the way home."

"Hm..." Riwane thought for a few before sighing. "Only reason Ah'd wana go back would be ta check on Rio an' everyone. But Ah dun think these things have ever spread that far."

Knock on wood.

"Hopefully not. But I'd feel better if we checked, either way."

The lights of town were fast approaching and Jon placed an arm over Riwane's shoulders.

"So, have you given much thought as to which classes you'd like to take in the coming semester?"

Maybe it was better to change the subject to something a little nicer.

"Just the finishers," Riwane replied, happy with the change of subject.

"I should have graduated from Highschool already and hit College buuuut.... Somethin' always comes up... h-heh." That and all those classes she kind of failed at... but hey! She was getting better!

"Well, we'll work on getting that accomplished together." he reassured her. "There's work to do, but we'll work on it together. Things are a little different now, being as I'm on staff. But I can certainly dedicate more time to helping you study now that I've less study to do myself."

"Hee, Ah'll be doin' my best fur sure and Ah'll be gettin' through no matter whut! Ah'm sure of it!" Riwane smiled, hugging onto his arm as they walked.

"An' dun you worry none 'bout me, you focus on yer teaching! Ah'll be fine."

"I am an efficient multitasker, Luv. I can do two things at once... and I'd be remiss as a trainer if I didn't provide you with every ounce of my support. No matter what challenge it is you're facing. Gym battle, or physics midterm, I've got your back."
