Quick video then action;
[Hey look who it was! It was That Janitor Guy and he's all super serious with his robes on. He received work from the man who called himself "Shiek", the one who ventured to the basement with a small crew. He heard from everyone else. Now he was here.]
I have heeded to what you all have been saying on the network about the strange insects and the basement.
I will be venturing to this basement and I will alert you all if I find anything else.
There is reason to suspect we have not seen all there is to see. If the safety of any who live on these grounds is threatened, rest assured I will get to the bottom of what is happening.
[Whenever he was done listening to what was to be said to him, he would log off and turn to his "roommate". Sup Dez.]

I know it will be. But if no one ventures further to find the problem, more will be in danger. I will not sit by idly, I know what the risks are.
[Besides, he didn't know if Desmond wanted to come or not. Up to him really, Connor was going regardless though.]
Re: [video]
You. You were on the network earlier and you said you fell in a cavern with another student.
[Ishimaru didn't know Connor but if Ishimaru saw horrible things down there and is personally warning him despite being a stranger, then well, the danger was confirmed even more possibly.]
I assure you I would take precautions going there, regardless if I am alone or not.

An illness?
[Surely, if it happened within a few days, then yeah, it was cause for some kind of alarm. Also, he assumed this companion was getting the proper care the place had to offer.]
Do you have reason to believe it was the insects about the school? Did you see anything attack your companion specifically?

What "thing"?

[He's read about Smash Balls, but hasn't actually seen one in action so he is not making the connection. Why would one even be down in the caves? WHO KNOWS.]
no subject
[Taking mental notes of all of this.]

I have an ally, it is plenty that way. The smaller the group, the more success we could have at maneuvering around what this bunker has to offer.
If there is an enemy afoot, we both can handle ourselves at combat.
[Because if you were goin' down there yourself on the premise that nobody else wanted to, Ulki was about to say that plenty of people would volunteer to assist.]
Ulki seemed reasonable, however.]
We will manage just fine. I fear though that more of the masses would get curious and want to venture down there, if it is as dangerous as some say, then I promise I will keep an eye out.
[Basically, he's saying that maybe groups could get larger and larger and more visits would be made down there. Maybe he would have no choice than have more volunteers if it meant that more ground would be covered and...sure, if more back have to be covered as well. We're in for a ride, Smash.]
How awful. He averts his gaze.]
...I'm sure you will.
As of now, he wasn't even sure of how to respond to this, as that comment was so nonchalant.]
You concerned about something else?
[He couldn't just explain that he didn't care. Why was he even trying to care? Because it was inconsiderate, and he knew it. To make up for being rude- even though it was only in his head- he almost thought to offer his assistance in case he needed it, but a part of him figured that some men might consider an offer like that to be patronizing. So he didn't.]
Good luck.
Not ALONE, I hope.
No, there is someone coming with me.
no subject
...make that two. I've got something I need to investigate down there, and right now it's not a good idea for anyone to go alone down there.
video
I should hope I am the least of your worries. Though if I were to speak truth, I am more concerned for the other young students who want to go.

[He could trust Gordon to fight and fight well, so now he knew of two power runners with him.
Plus, he seemed to agree with him on all fronts where students were concerned.]

no subject
No, he couldn't let this small child go (except he will, just push him a little more). He was afraid he was going to have to be blunt.]
No, it would be too dangerous. I do not wish to put you nor the other students at risk.

[She closes her eyes and emits a few crackles of electricity, as if that was going to prove her point.]
I can zap any enemies down there good so they won't get in our way!
no subject
[Stealth was key, and he didn't know Watt on that front. She just proved that she could use some kind of magic? Was that magic? She was a tiny sun...child.
She was insisting hard about going and her arguing and not stepping down only worried him.]
I do not know if any foes down there would be expecting us or not. We may have to keep quiet as we venture or we may have to fight off an ambush.
no subject
Hmm. It seems as though a lot of curious things are coming from there as of late. [Subtle excitement could be found in her tone. At least she's not asking if he's going alone.]
no subject
From what I hear, these curiosities could prove to be more dangerous than they even appear.
There could be more there than these insects.
no subject
Is that so? And you intend to go there as well? [She's not unfamiliar with danger, that's for sure, but Edel no stap.]
More? Ah, do you mean the statues that others have mentioned as well? [Someone pays attention.]
no subject
He nodded.]
Yes, another student mentioned something that was activated when he and a companion went there, they spoke of it changing them in some way.
None of those things together make sense as they are, I hope to find some sort of connection.
no subject
I see, I see. [Her expression started to show excitement matching her tone.]
But I must say, I'm eager to find some sort of connection between these myself. [Edel pls.]
no subject
That is what we will set out to do.
[Action; SORRY HE IS HERE]
When he made eye contact with the shadow that's now Connor's eyes, he nodded to confirm he was ready to get going. ]
Did I hear that right? [ He ejected the blade once to test it, then pulled it back in. ] Is a crew really a good idea? [ He was used to just doing everything solo for the most part. ]
[Action; SORRY DON'T CUT IT!!!!]
He was quiet for a few moments before deciding he should actually answer Desmond. That was because he tried to find the best way to answer.]
I was ready to go alone.
[After all, he was used to doing everything alone too. His duty wasn't for anyone else to carry, his burden and his alone: a motto he lived by, with his own stubborn attitude.
He remember when he received a message from Shiek and his own troupe, information here traveled and with that, people were more and more curious. It was hard for him to admit, and it took some heavy pushing, but it really brought something into clarity.]
The information and rumors are spreading like a wild fire through the campus, and into the minds of many.
If I go alone, and come back with more information, how many more will become curious, Desmond? If I refuse the company of students and staff, I...do not believe them to be stifled as to want to go inside regardless.
If the danger rings true, how many would harm themselves?
[Pause, basically he's saying that i]
You, Gordon, and I can hold ourselves fine; but the others that wanted to go, I am not sure.

How are you with weapons?

[And for he to temporarily increase his strength and gain a skill that would be impossible otherwise, but that sounded even more farfetched to explain than the demon summoning strangely enough.]
no subject
Demons? Using a computer?
[He knew computers were some strange form of modern entities but seriously?]
no subject

[That name was familiar; was he that somewhat smarmy man in charge of the computer lab? Yeah, must have been. Connor had enlisted on his help to understand computers once, and it didn't go so well. Then here was this kid using his program, was it something he could trust?]
Yes, I recall that man. You do have full control of this "program", do you?
[He was actually a little curious what this program would do. Witchcraft with demons was a risky topic to discuss to the non-magic eye that Connor had, but he would always remember where he was right now.]

In the end, I suppose all that matters is that you can control that magic and use it to your advantage instead of against you, nor another ally.
[Chihiro would notice his head falling back, in thought; in consideration.]
Very well, I accept. If may be, we may need someone else with an affinity for magic in case we find unnatural enemies in the bunkers.
