I've already made a few stops to talk to people in person, but I've gotta reach a damn crowd here if I'm to get anything done. If I already caught up with you on this subject, feel free to move on, or let me know if you've got anything else to add.

We all know this place is weird. Just how weird is up in the air, but I can say for certain the weirdest place I've ever seen. We also know that some of us can't get back home. I know it isn't just me, it can't be. If you can't get home from this #@&^% city, let me know, and tell me if you know how you got here in the first place.

Now if you can get home, I want to know how too. If this is your hometown, then you can probably safely ignore this old engineers mad chats.

On a related note, I'm looking for someone with access to a rocket ship, or space pod, or what ever. That, or a whole lot of rocket fuel.

It makes as much sense as anything else. Did your world have a name?

It was a rocket, it fell back down. In an ocean. On another damned world, for all I know.

Looking for a ride?

Or someone to fund a new damn rocket from scratch, but I think a ride is a lot easier.

Where are you looking to go?

Up. I want to see this planet we're on from above, see every land mass. Compare it to the maps I've tried to make.

Why, how far can you go?

Far as you want. Can you pay?

Should'a known it would come down to god$#$^# money. Spacecraft are really so easy to use, you can just market it for money instead of believing in a little thing like exploration and science.

Costs money to fuel the ship. You're essentially asking to charter a flight.

I came here not of my own volition and I know of at least three other people who experienced a similar entry.

What I heard from one of the former members of the security team was that there are portals that lead back to your original home world, as well as other worlds that other inhabitants come from, but I've also heard that not everyone can find them and admittedly, I've not found mine either.

I'm sure everyone's had something a little varied. Before I came here, I was in a desert. Not far from my encampment. I fell into a sand trap of sorts and quite literally fell here.

You literally fell? That's a strange path. Where was it you landed? A beach, a cave, somewhere with plenty of sand already?

Solid ground, actually. By the fountain near the administrative office. It was a surreal experience, I assure you. No logic could explain it and I've given up on understanding it myself. I can certainly say there is no way back to my world from whence I arrived, however.

And y'haven't found any other way, huh? That's some magic, yeah.

No. I've also not heard of any other options. Aside from the portals, at any rate.

Oh I arrived willing enough. Just seems I ain't able to get home now that I did. Flew here fine, but the maps aren't the same anymore.

The maps aren't the same? I don't understand what that means. What are you saying? Maps don't simply change with time. That medium is far too concrete.

You're right. The maps themselves are still the same. The ground I fly over is what changes. Large oceans, then the continents I reach aren't always the same. I'm starting to think it's some damn magic.

You mean to say that the lands beyond what we see change with time? Truly?

And you are able to fly over them? It is possible then that you could fly... anywhere with the proper directions given? If... the land were to remain the same?

The land remaining the same is the key. Sometimes things are as they were before, other times I'll encounter a new layout. Other times entire continents appear and disappear. That's what happened when I first came.

But yeah, given a proper map ahead of time, I should be able to get somewhere. I am sure there are some places I couldn't reach, turns out there are a lot of different planets out there or something, but I don't know the limits.

I had no idea. This is the first time I've heard of such a thing happening. That's very interesting. I wonder if the Headmaster would have more information on why the land formations change. I think I should also like to check with some of the people here and let them know. That is some very interesting information, sir.

I flew in on my dragon but I know you can get home by train too... Er, I mean, my home at least. I realize that's not very helpful, I'm sorry.

Plenty helpful, miss. It's just as good to know who can travel home, as those who can't. Where is it you call home?
