[The video starts with Ivan centered on-camera, his fingers steepled in front of him. In the background can be seen the rest of the computer lab.] Well, I'm sure you're all enthused to see your immaculate physical education teacher return. I hope you all didn't get fat and lazy while I was away.

[Ivan lets out a knowing chuckle, lifting his hand up and placing it coyly at his cheek.] Don't worry, even if you did, I'll whip you all right back into shape~ And I'm sure my most loyal students would love to welcome me back, right~?

[Ivan knew he was less than well liked amongst his students, but there were at least a couple people who liked him regardless! Those were his favourites. It was almost nice to be back, knowing that he would have the best of both worlds--fear and admiration--again.]

I'll be at the gym this afternoon setting up. [He leans over, turning off the camera.]

[ACTION]
[As promised, Ivan is at the gym that afternoon rearranging things to his liking. Anybody is free to come talk to him, whether they saw his initial transmission or not.]

I was working on a Peninsula for a little while, but the place was a complete dump; it was in the middle of nowhere!

[Oh yes, Pulse remembered him. But since he hadn't shown up to teach gym for the past few weeks, Pulse had begun to feel a little concerned.]

Welcome back, sir! I haven't seen you around lately, and I felt worried. Did something happen?

[Text? Ugh, Ivan didn't have time to learn how to type efficiently. He sticks to video.]

[Upon reading the handle of this one, though, he's surprised to find that Pulse is actually enthused to have him back. Unless...maybe this was sarcasm? How is he supposed to tell? He'll just assume Pulse is being genuine.

The way Ivan's squinting skeptically at the screen probably gives away his confusion...]

I was temporarily relocated to a Peninsula before coming back here. But I'm sure you've kept in shape while I was gone~

[Basically the only reason Pulse was reluctant to attempt video was the fact that he didn't have a camera inside his dorm. Perhaps if he tried composing his bulletin board posts outside the computer for once...]

Certainly, sir! Although to do so, I needed to put together a personal daily exercise regimen that was much more intense than what the school was offering, so I'm sorry to say that I had to drop gym.

[Ivan manages just fine despite being forced to use the computer lab because doesn't have anything even resembling a device that could use the network itself. No excuse, Pulse!]

Dropped? [He sounds a bit irritated. Ivan wanted to have more students he knew could work, along with more he knew he could kick around.] Well, don't you think you should join again? After all, I'm more experience at this than you are.

[Pulse had just begun to notice the constant back-and-forth between different formats, and was beginning to wonder if perhaps he was not being adequate enough in his attempt at communication. It was then that he read the line where Raikov claimed to have more "experience" at physical education than him, which made him fall over in his chair in a sudden fit of hilarity. He could hear Riche's taunting voice in his head: Yeah, come back when you've circumnavigated the world's networks on foot, fought a robot submarine on the ocean floor, and took down your cyber monstrosity of a father with your bare hands, then we can talk about experience.

After he was able to compose himself again, he composed a response.]

I'm sorry, sir, but I've had to concentrate my studies in information technology and science, and therefore don't have any space left in my class schedule for a physical education class.

If I may need it in a later term as a class credit requirement, sir, I'll consider it then.

The tattoos were one thing, but...were glow-in-the-dark tattoos even possible?]

There's an optional sort of college-degree level of education that occurs here after students graduate, so they can further their studies.

I don't really care to enroll in that officially but I think I'll show up to the classes I like the most just because I like them so much.
