[Caim's room is neat and orderly. He's not so much. He could probably use a hair cut, since he hasn't cut his hair once since his return.]

I feel I have put this off long enough.

I am searching for a man.
He must be strong, confident, quick of wit, intelligent, and ambitious.

[He clearly pauses, because he understands how this could be misconstrued.]

Not for me.
Yet, if you should know of just such a man with the mentioned traits, I should like to meet him and judge for myself.

I am attempting to fulfill the role of appropriate guardian. You could say I am looking for a 'retainer' for someone close to me.

[Well protecting someone is an interesting proposition..that's what a retainer is right? Sounds pretty fancy, regardless.]

 okay that makes sense. i just have a history bc my friends had 2 much ambition and nearly destroyed our world.

What traits do you possess that you feel you would be well-suited for what I am requesting?

saying i've got this trait and that won't prove anything. 

actions speak louder than words,. i'd rather show what i'm capable than explain why i could be.

And how do you intend to prove any such thing?
