[After a few miserable months? Finally. Things were going his way. Red was Red again, which was the best part of course. But now?

Now. It was the day of the Donuts.

You can find him almost anywhere, collecting and eating hovering donuts. More than should be possible. This is carb loading taken to a whole new level. Several new levels. Like fifteen different levels of carb loading.

...yeah they're kind of sweets but they're made of flour so we're going to put them in the same food group as pasta or whole grain bread or cheerios or honey nut cheerios.

He is going to be enjoying himself all day outside today. He looks kind of tired as he hasn't been sleeping well, but he's plenty hyper from all that sugar.]

[It's late. As in, the kind of late where it's pitch black outside and where most people are sleeping. Huddled up almost practically in the windowsill on her side of the dormitory, Eirika's attempting to be as quiet as she can, especially knowing Furiae likely needs that beauty rest of hers.

She hasn't found sleep herself yet, however.]

I was thinking...
Is there a missive courier service here? I may not be able to return to Magvel yet, but perhaps it would be possible for me to write home and have it delivered in the stead of my absence.

[She softens and after a moment, continues.]

Ephraim's name day is upcoming, and... mine as well, I suppose. We have always celebrated it together and I feel as if such a thing will be lacking for this calendar year. Yet if I could write him and have it truly see his hands, I would feel a greater sense of peace.

::Two hours after Asahina's initial, joyous voicepost announcing the sea of hovering donuts outside (and inside in some cases) this text message appears.::

I have discovered where my Hovering Donuts DX machine had been knocked over and set into overdrive mode in the Science Labs. It has been turned off after producing, according to its internal counter, 298,102 donuts before I was able to turn it off.

After several days, the majority of the donuts left on campus should become stale enough to ascend into the lower levels of the atmosphere, provided it does not rain between now and then.

I will move the machine to my home in Twoson to prevent an accident like this from happening a third time.

On a lighter note, I am looking to begin another Dungeons and Dragons session. If anyone would like to play, just leave me a message. In fact, I have one player lined up already.

[Private Level 5 to RICK]
I know.
