You wake up to find that someone has burned a message into the beautiful school grounds! Who could have done this? It is a Mystery. It could have been any-one.

[If it were up to Ziio, she'd probably allow a little more time for recovery from the unfettered chaos that broke out. Yet it's not. Although it doesn't leave her any more comfortable with having to fulfill her position for the academy's staff.]

As your guidance counselor, I feel it pertinent to remind the students with your classes approaching, consideration should be given to who you are as a person and the direction in which you plan to go. Where you want to be. What you want to accomplish. What you define as personal incentive.

[What students are passionate for, but that sounds so ridiculously... not her style.]

When you are choosing your courses, think carefully about what will benefit you most and fits your requirements. If you feel that you are without direction and are in need of assistance, my office will remain open. Your questions are welcome and will be met with an unbiased perspective and advice.

And so the world continues. What have we learned, if anything at all?

...it is merely a cycle, continuing endlessly until it reaches its inevitable end. We as a world will destroy ourselves if we do not stop this progression.

Those who have fallen...what did their deaths bring? Momentary rage, grief...and then we continue on with the school year. They simply fade away, and soon it is though they never existed.

That which we ignore will consume us. Our hatreds, our furies, our obsession with our own unimportant lives. We must examine the big picture and consider our places in it, and devote ourselves to ending that cycle of destruction.

Though time, what we have of it, marches on. Continuing education is vital to this process of enlightenment. We simply cannot permit ourselves to forget the suffering of this world. If you wish to dig your heels in and scream "no more!" to the violence of creation, I ask that you join my Ethics class.

...this world...how consumed it is by strife. It is being ruined by it.

Hey guys! So, classes are starting up in a week or so. I'm curious: what classes has everyone signed up for?

I'll start off, I guess: so far I've got second semesters of autoshop and biomechanical engineering, as well as archeology, computer programming and physics.

Anyone taking any of those? Maybe I'll see you in class!
