[The feed clicks on. At first there appears to be nothing but a black screen, but an astute viewer may notice that it is, in fact, broadcasting a very dark room, the only light coming from under the door off-screen. There is an even darker splotch in the center of the screen that is vaguely person-shaped. They're not sitting at the desk, but rather standing over it, scrutinizing the video camera. Their face isn't visible, of course, but you get the feeling that they're staring straight into it, i.e. at you, and you also get the feeling that this person doesn't quite know what to make of this fancy gadget, but they're trying their hardest to hide that.

After a few seconds of silence, the figure speaks with a low voice.]

...Cute toy.

You can keep it.

[The figure shifts as he reaches and turns off the camera, without even waiting for a response. WOW RUDE. However, he doesn't seem to grasp the concept that turning off the camera != turning off the computer it's connected to, and it's still open to replies. Oops.]

[The feed turns on to reveal a big wet nose hogging up most of the camera space. It moves back, revealing a wide-eyed tauren face.]

Ah! It works! [Wow, what kind of crazy-ass accent is THAT?]

[She wrinkles her nose and pantomimes writing something on her palm.]

...Mail! Even the writing of mail is not common in my tribe. We prefer face-to-face. But, as this is speaking and not writing, it is still good, I think. I-I know it will help me to practice the human tongue. You can probably hear I am still learning.

[She laughs nervously, rubbing the side of her face. Then she glances away, trying to remember something.]
