will_be_god: (I am your new god)

text, middle of the night

It seems as though I have returned at a fitting time.

Something so precarious.

No matter then. I will return to work posthaste.

It seems I must reintroduce myself. Very well, my name is Cyrus. I have been the Ethics teacher here, and I trust I remain in that position. I was called away urgently for many months and will not speak more on it.

I demand those in my class pay attention and do the work that is assigned to them. This ought not be an extraordinary thing; in fact it ought to be expected. Yet as with much, this has fallen by the wayside.

For you to reconsider the world and what you know of it--that is my aim. What surrounds us and fills our lives often passes us by for the commonality of it. For us to act ethically is for us to be thoughtful of those things around us and their impact on the greater whole of existance.

I urge critical thinking, and for those in my class to be able to support your beliefs. Do not be surprised if you are unable to do so immediately. You have not spared thought for such things before, and as such you may find it difficult.

Yet it is ultimately rewarding, for therein lies justice itself.

And justice is something that must be upheld. I am certain that you have seen why.

I see. Sounds a lot like a place I once got dragged into. The Majigen. Pocket dimension created by a demon, meant to replace all reality and be room enough for just one very large composite soul inside the body of a giant baby. The creation of a brand new creation myth.

Yeah. This place was relatively small in comparison, though, it's creation was meant to overtake the living world and the Makai. Or Hell, as you'd probably be more familiar with calling it. So, my assumption is that the place was to start small and grow.

From what Jedah SAID it was to be the only one, but composed of many. I was dragged there because my soul was deemed somehow valuable to his cause and he wanted it to become part of the composite soul inside his creation.

He was barmy, so I really paid little attention to his wafflings.

108 Spirits in the one body? No, I'm not familiar with it. Is it a Pokemon, then?

Interesting. It's not a common Pokemon, I gather.

Ah, I see. It must be a relatively powerful Pokemon if it's in use by a Champion of the League.

That's true. You find that same concept in a lot of the philosophy behind Martial Arts. However, with Pokemon it's a little more complex. For example, unleashing the true hidden potential of a Caterpie would give someone a wonderful sense of achievement I'm sure. However, it may not exactly make them Elite Four material.

Ah, but that's a far more drastic unleashing of potential.

I actually take that as a huge compliment. Being that I was 21 before even knowing what they were, I've had quite some catching up to do to ensure I'm worthy of my partner's trust.
