[Someone's been busy. Between studying, making up little posters reminding people to travel in pairs off campus and stay indoors after dark, and actually hanging them everywhere he can, it's a wonder he had any time to do anything like Christmas shopping. But he did.
Everybody in the Debate Club and Disciplinary Committee gets... A shiny new study guide according to grade level! Celes also gets one whether she wants it or not. They're wrapped and labeled as end-of-year gifts, oddly enough, and each one contains a small note with encouraging quotes and proverbs on them, even if some don't translate that well into English.

It is nearly time to leave behind any hardships of this year and prepare ourselves for the next! Do not forget to go to bed early on New Year's Eve so you can wake up on time to watch the sun rise and greet the year with optimism and determination!
Of course, I should not have to remind my fellow students to keep to their studies even through this winter break! [He points at the screen sternly.] Keep the material fresh in your minds so you are prepared when classes resume!

Hey, thanks for the study guide, Ishimaru - I'll put it to good use. Hey, is it traditional where you're from to go to bed early on New Years Eve and wake up early to see the sun? It's a little different to what I've seen in this city.
